Homm5 will be a sequel build on existing parts, not compiled from existing parts

All I see in these topics, is how to compile a new, good heroes 4. I say, heroes is its original form is finished in Heroes II, and polished in III.

Look at Warcraft III, it has the flavour of WC II, but adds: Heroes, Spellcasting, different ways of collecting food, it deletes water fights. It is completely different.

In heroes IV they added the Hero-in-battle element(good i say), 3d(in a bad way), a new magic system(i like the heroesIIIs better). I like this game in another way.

When i say the words: WARLOCK and WIZARDSTOWN, everybody starts to jack off.

My point: take some good things, add new really good things.

Keep: graphics like homm2, in 3d, this will be hard
     spell system like homm3
1 story, keep all the creatures and heroes already present into their own recognisable town, add a couple heroes and creatures, and add some new "races"(towns)

Add:  3-5 New features

They should build on what they have, not compile from what they have.

A lot of fans seem to share your opinion, but not all of us. I, for one, enjoyed the latest sequel most.

Heroes IV was not a 3D game.

I liked the new magic system better for many reasons, which have been discussed in these forums many times before.

The problems is not everybody agrees what good points of the series are.

For example, I hated H2 graphics and H3 magic schools. On the other hand, you liked those.

I am afraid we will get a new game based on Heroes III. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Only time will tell.

By the way, I don't see how your personal opinion deserves a new topic. You could have posted that in one of several H5 threads.
