The Top 10 Things that Irk You Online
10. Webpages that you cannot exit unless you use the "Back" button pull-down menu.
9. Pop-up ads that follow your scrolling and block most of the screen.
8. Last-minute snipers on Ebay.
7. User-unfriendly or unupdated corporate websites.
6. Excessive 'cMptr tlk' lyK ths.
5. All that spyware.
4. Morons who have nothing better to do in life than program computer viruses.
3. Frequent cussing, especially when it's not necessary.
2. When people ignore you or your posts.
1. Getting flamed for no apparent reason.
The above isn't in the best order, but it is close enough.

the thing i hate the most is when u ask for something on a forum (not this one), and ppl just seem to say things that arent helpful at all. then when u remind them of the original thread they start flaming u. hate those guys

That is true in a sense, although I find an attack on my person is potentially more damaging than a whacked out computer would ever be. After all, I'm sure most of you are aware of how some people are real jerks when it comes to flaming. I take these things very personally, so I'd rather avoid it altogether.
I remember getting major hassles on Battle.net back when I went on there. Not just the infamous backstabbing in allied games, but more of the sociable aspects. I think one time somebody picked something up from my profile and bombarded me with racial attacks. I was sure glad to be rid of him. Suffice it to say, you have to expect the worst when you play online sometimes.
*Oh, and another annoyance. Say you're typing out a post and then you accidentally press the "Back" button. In some cases, you'll lose everything you typed. It's worse when you use a laptop, since pressing your wrist firmly against the mouse area tends to make the mouse cursor "click" on whatever it's above at the time. It's junk if you're typing and your cursor is over an advertisement link. It's hard to explain, but I hope you get the idea.

I hate how fake you can be online...
It's so easy to mislead people and to hide behind a mask of deceit. I think it's unfair to the people you're lying to and, most likely, sooner or later they will start to see you for who you REALLY are...
(it's like masterbation.... in the end, you're only screwing yourself!)

Personally, I find all of this false identity stuff kinda creepy. It's like you'll never really know for sure about these folks you meet online. Sure, they'll post pictures of people they claim to be themselves, but it might all be wrong. My mom might be the one who is posting all of this under the name Guitarguy, and not me. Er, wait, no! I'm the one who's posting as me for sure!

*You're trying to join an online game (Battle.net, Yahoo Games, etc) and people in the rooms leave after you show up or boot you instead! Annoying.
*While on that topic, you are blamed for laggy high latency throughout the online game only to find out in the end that it's somebody else and not you. And when you tell them "See, I was innocent all along", they just tell you to jump off a cliff!
*I hate a lot of those websites that display music lyrics. They have some of the most annoying (and above all numerous) pop-up ads around.

3. No Offence, but when it comes to games.. French and German people bust my ba115. They never seem to speak english, and when u ask them 2.. they get pissed.(This probably also goes for other languages.. but this pisses me off.. no offence to either teh french of german in everyday life)
4. Danish people. Oh by the gods.. when it comes to gaming! .. The think just cuz their danish just like me, i HAVE to be kind to them.. Oh my god.. i'm not kidding.. SPADES!
5. When the host kicks you for being better than him, AKA defeating him..

1. When you've left you're MSN set on 'Busy' or 'Away' and people STILL try and chat to you. Then get offended when you tell them you're busy!
2. Getting ganked by Horde in WoW, I remember their names and assassinate them. I have a hit list (true)
3. Searching for something totally innocent, like motorbikes and getting 50,000 possible websites. 49, 956 of them showing some naked chick on a motorbike.

Not related to internet browsing but... I surely hate all those messages on yahoo messenger that sound like: Today is the international blah blah blah... send this message to all your contacts list and if 5 persons respond than somebody surely blah blah blah..
