No not the case. Try to stick to questions relating to what caused the anomaly for now, and ask questions about why it is so dangerous later to avoid confusing 2 separate isues.

Yes. That is why the device works on vibration which in itself is a form of travel, but over an undescernable distance. Remember though that this idea of being in one place is what we generally see in movies and does not mean that if time travel is possible that you would have to stay in one place.

wait a minute,does this mean that if you time travel and apear in the same place in the universe that would mean that u apear in outer space because the earth is always revolving around the sun and moving, and the galaxy is always twirling.
is this part of the mystery, or just an error u made, or am i just plain wrong about this theory...
ps.you cant move to earths new location after the time travel either because its almost impossible to predict how fast the earth moves through the universe..

Everything that travels upon the earth moves also with the earth as it moves through space. This includes all forms of energy which move with the earth as it travels as well as taking its own natural path. If energy did not behave this way we would not be able to harness it in order to do anything with it. When you turn on a light the energy does not get left behind and find itself moving around somewhere else in the galaxy as the earth moves from one position to another. It stays within the confines of the moving planet and moves with it.
Our traveller is vibrating within the confines of planet earth and so will be bound by the same laws of gravity as the rest of us.
You may have a point though. A new form of energy that travels faster than light might find itself outside the normal laws of physics.
This is just complicating things though and is not relevant to the plot. I could sit through just about any science movie and find holes in the plot because that is the nature of science fiction. Because you we are not dealing with an exact science we can only theorise.
However the answer to this mystery is logical, but will require some imagination which is what this game is about.
So keep plugging away to find the answers to the original question for part 2 of this mystery.

im not sure but i think if you move faster than the speed of light which is what the belt shield thing does, wouldnt that mean your actually going back in time, but technically you could also argue that the shield is also around the universe so the universe is going back in time. so your kinda going back and forth at the same time...
is the annomaly caused by a difference in the laws of physics, because for something to move faster than the speed of light it needs infinite energy, and when you get infinite energy there is alot of mass in no particular space because its moving through time so the laws of quantum dynamics and general relativity dont work because they dont deal with infinity and non-spaceness...
i dont know ive only ever read one book on quantum dynamics and general relativity... maybe im just thinking too crazily

I got drawn into stuff that has nothing to do with the plot. It was just a chat between myself and Niceguy
The plot is not too complex to solve. You just need to stick to asking short questions and you will get it.
You dont need any prior knowledge of things like string theory or quantum physics. I would not have bothered otherwise.
To Niceguy. You are thinking way to deeply to be finding the answers, and this may be puting everyone else off continuing with this mystery, Including Rebirthing.
