on level 5 i needed prosperity, i had everythin' else so i lowered taxes to 0, and raised wages to 100. then i set speed to 100 and waited.
by the way whta speed do yous play on normaly
i usually play on 70%

i think i will get past lvl 6 through the military lvl. u only need pros. of 30 and there are 3 starting trade routes

I play on 90%.
I think your method of raising Prosperity is good for the earlier cities where the requirement is something like 20% or 25% (esp if your city is raking in cash). I say this only because once your city's posperity reaches around 36%, the advisor will start to complain about the housing quality being too low. Even if you have housing around Casa and Insulae level, it'll still be that way. This can be annoying.
For example on Level 6, I had a positive bank balance, low unemployment, and high wages. My Prosperity was at around 34% and I expected it to rise by five or six percent. To my disappointment, my Prosperity sunk down to 26%!!! I checked everything over and narrowed the problem down to my housing quality. It was worse than normal because I couldn't evolve many of my new tents.

i play on 100% except when there is a fire, collapsed building, at the start or invaders at which i go to 10% till ive dealt with it

Maybe we should postpone the deadline until another week since we're basically at the same level (literally). By then we should be far ahead of where we are now.
I was tempted to try Carthago too, but I didn't save before making that city choice, so I can't go with that city.  I must plug on in Lugdunum.

Ummmm. Why?
if u go to file and press replay map u come up with the breifing. then if u press cancel, bottom left of breifing, u go back to the chioce.

this happens to me on alot of games, i get stuck and then a new game comes out and i forget about the other game untill someone asks me about it.
but seeing as how the new final fantasy wont be out for a while nor kingdom hearts 2 i guess i wont forget about this game for a while

I started a separate thread to display our Caesar III progress. It can be updated from time to time. You guys can IM me when you want something updated.
I put it in VW since it doesn't really fit in the "Other Games" forum. Using the first post to keep track of progress, we can use the rest of the thread to talk story or something.
I'm thinking we can use the thread to record future LOM progress as well, but I think we can talk about that later.
