Enchanters
I've just played a map with Dracon whose specialty is Enchanters. God those guys were good!
What level are they supposed to be? I figured cos Zealots could get upgraded to Enchanters they must be level 6. However, their hit points (30) are very low for a level 6 troop. They would need double that. Even most level 5 troops (apart from Zealots) have more hit points.
Anyone else think they are good?

yea they are really good. i would say they are level 6 cause of their mass spell ability

They are lvl 5 like zealots. Creatures dont go up a lvl when they are upgraded. Besides you fight 9 when you take the dwell like other lvl 5 dwells.

But arenīt mages/archmages upgraded to enchanters aswell?

When you have a Lv7 creature who can accept beneficial spells in big amounts you shuold split them up . This strategy is very effective when you have a Stronghold hero without Wisdom skill !

Enchanters are lv.6
You fight 6 for getting the dwelling and get 2 each week.
Or are we playing different games ? 
Btw, archer/marksman (lv.2) and wood/grand elf (lv.3) >>> sharpshooters (lv.4)
and also mage/archmage (lv.4) and monk/zealot (lv.5) >>> enchanters (lv.6)

You should explain that a bit more i think.
Even without wisdom skill, a stronghold hero can cast about 85% of all beneficial spells that exist in the game (Level 1 and 2). And on the other hand, most higher-leveled beneficial spells (teleport, anti-magic, animate dead, resurrection, slayer, frenzy, magic mirror) canīt be casted on mass-mode. And when u split up your creatures, the chance, one stack is completely killed without killing the opponents attacking unit is very high.

I think it does...
When u play random maps, and u have some guards to the next area, then there could be placed Level 5 or level 6 units for example.
If u see "Lots of Enchanters", u probably know, these "Lots" are closer to 20 than to 49, coz there would be lesser Level 6 units placed than Level 5....

interesting thoeory. but when ever i play random maps, enchanters are as common ghosts
