I do sometimes...they SUCK! I hate them because I get them when I'm all relaxed and then it starts a dream where for example I was riding a skateboard and I jump onto a rail but slip and totally faceplant it.  This Jolts me awake, I dislike it very much...

Dreams

I have had wierd dreams and they're starting to freak me out. I have had a whole bunch of dreams where i get into a knife fight with some random person or maybe even my best friend i always get cut up bad and I will usually wake up if i get stabbed. But that isn't even the part that freaks me out. I can actually feel it in my dream (not quite as intense as real life) but i can still feel the knife and i still feel it when i wake up like it just happened and im in the hostpital. I know that some people have been hypnotized into thinking they're hurt and it actually happens so i hope this stops before i wake up coughing up blood. But i haven't really had a dream for like 3 months anyway so i shouldn't die in my sleep from getting into a knife fight. I've never squared off with a guy with a knife i just figure what it would feel like to get stabbed in the gut

Anyone ever had one of those dreams where you are busting to go to the loo and you cant find a toilet anywhere except one that is on view to the public. I have had this often and i know from speaking to others that i am not alone.
my guess is that its your only protection against waking up too late to relieve yourself.

OMFG!!!
I can't believe another person has the exact dream as me!!  and you're right it's always either in public sight or (in my case) a horribly dirty or crap covered toilet!!  In the dreams im running from one "out of service" toilet to another...
The scary part is im lactose intolerant and in my dream I actually feel like I need to go to the can in RL, so I have a pending fear of crapping myself!! (man talk about giving you guys more bait to tease me!!)

Spiderman dream:
I've had a reacurring dream that I was myself but found out that I started having spider powers...  now the wierd thing is that in every new dream, I actually improve with my skills but tall buildings get fewer or non existant!  SCARY THING is these dreams started about 10 years after i bought my last comic, and 6 MONTHS BEFORE any trailer was released for spiderman!!

but most other dreams involve me running away from something... but im moving too slow to get away.
Im just there trying to get away but i can't
(if im walking, can't walk fast enough, on a bike where the peddles are too stiff, in a car that the stearing is soo loose or the breaks don't work!! )

anyone here a dream therapist??

Well i'm no dream therapist or phyciatrist nor have a finished high school hehe its not cuz im stupid its cuz im not old. I'd say that the dream means that you have something you need to get off ur chest and your just too embarassed or shamed to say it. Maybe there's a girl you need to talk to or ask out. Maybe you need to apologize to someone but your just too proud. That my 2 cents.
Im adding this cuz i just looked it up and it says the actual bathroom represents your privacy or self confidence. What you put down the toilet is the bad things of your life. And going to the bathroom is expressing yourself so i think i was almost right on that one. And since this website is really relavent its www.dreamhawk.com

I've had this dream as long as I can remember where I'm trying to punch somebody and I can't get the strength to hit them with any force... this probably won't make any sense to anyone who hasn't experienced this, but every once in a while I have one.
It feels like I can't propel my hand forward with any power... it's kind of strange and annoying.

I've also had that dream and i know a few others that have also. In my dream i was in the passenger seat of a car that got hijacked and i couldn't punch the guy out or anything it felt so lame and it pissed me off. I figured in my case i was obviously lacking influence in the real world.

The falling dreams that I was leaning towards were one's where you are on a cliff face etc and fall, but the one about the skate board can work. If you have continued that dream let me know if you stay down, get up straight away or get up slowly and I can tell you what they mean.

When you have a dream where you have a dream such as that one tomas577 it does not mean that you are weak, it means that you need to have more belief in yourself and strengthen your self mentaly. You cannot let people walk over you but don't become too pushy or you can become like the hijacker.

I've woken up from sleep with a jolt at least twice in the past two weeks. I'd dream that I was walking somewhere and I would suddenly trip on something. In that instant, I'd wake up with my legs "jumping" as though from shock. It's really strange; it's happened to me in the past. Has this happened to anybody before?

i've had that before...

(you're not usually "sleeping" when it happens but in a phase of sleep just before REM)

I've had times where I see myself walking accross an old plank bridge (indiana jones style) and just before I step, I noticed a board missing, so I jerk myself to catch my balance...

also, I've had an instance where I was either playing catch or playing full out baseball, the ball was struck and was coming straight for my head... i ended up dodging the ball
in my bed!!

I had a dream that I was in a lecture hall and the prof was testing people in the audience with questions. I though I'd be safe because I was some fifty rows back, but he saw me and proceeded to ask me a question. A microphone suddenly appeared in my hand and I asked him to repeat the question. He did, and it was clear that I didn't know dirt about what to say (it might've been a question about chemistry). I said something incorrect, so the prof called on somebody else who naturally gave the right answer. I felt so embarrassed in front of all those people; I felt better when I woke up.

In many of my dreams, I can't talk...  I try to but the articulation is not there.. it's like I know what I want to say but the words can't materialize from my vocal chords..  so I simply produce this sound that's a cross between someone with down syndrome and a huge drunkard.

(last night was the first time that I stop trying to talk and I start trying to sign.)

EDIT:

ok here's the updated "poop dream" ....

I can understand all that stuff about needed to get something out (off my chest or what not) but....

ok so in my dream, Im done my "business" but now am constantly interupted by my step brother and step sister... all im trying to do is "clean up" and they keep walking through...  on top of that, my toilet paper is all soiled....  it's pretty gross... the more I try to clean, the more I get covered.

I think I have issues.

Finally, I had another dream about the grims.

I was walking down the street from my house as they suddenly appeared out of nowhere. The pack leader turned into a human. "You have not been very cooperative," he said. "I am not obliged to be," I replied. "True. Very true. However, it would be best for all concerned if you did," he said. "How so?" I asked. "Well, the world would become a better place," he said. "How?" I asked. "With simplicity and ease," he said, borrowing my RL expression. "Who are you, anyway?" I asked. "I am the pack leader of this pack. My name is Valakular," he replied. "Well, I'm not going to cooperate," I said. "It's a shame," Valakular said. "What, are you going to try to kill me?" I asked, while raising my shoes. "Us? Kill you? You're the one with the shoes pointed at us! We'll leave. We get the idea!" Valakular said. "But what about my friend?" I asked. "Your friend? What friend? You don't have any friends," Valakular said. "At least I'm not a werewolf freak," I said. "Your friend has repaid his debt, with no harm to him, as I said," Valakular said. "What about that old man?" I asked. "The old man? He... what's it to you?" he replied. "Is he some sort of guardian?" I asked. "Hahahaha! He's just a hobo. Just a harmless hobo," he said, and disappeared, along with the rest.

I've read about how some of you dreamt about getting chased by something but you never seemed to budge when you tried to run. There have also been similar stories that have to do with using the potty. My dreams are kind of like all of those, but it's got to do with school. I'm at school desperately trying to finish the previous night's homework before class starts, but I never really get anywhere. I think I've gotten some of it done, but I'll look back and only see a blank piece of paper. It freaks me out so bad, since my eighth and ninth grade years were kind of like that.

ive just had a falling dream, and it was pretty exhilerating

at first i was at the top of a building looking down over the edge, there was a ladder going down, not all the way to the floor but about half way. any way for some crazy reason i thought i could jump down and grab the ladder and find a way to climb down slowly and jumping then grabing the ladder would be easier than just climbing it (thats what too much metal gear solid 2 does to you) so i jump grab the ladder but it starts swinging and i accidentally let go slip and die, and i was tottally freaked out when i was falling. i cant remember what happened next.

mvassilev, sorry I have been round lately my computer had a virus and I had to wipe it and start all over again. It seems that you have made an effect in your dreams about the grims. I have not found any information on the name yet but ill let you know if I do. Keep up fighting them and try to find the old man he may be able to help you if they have not destroyed him, but I doubt they have I feel he is valubale to them.

Falling dreams are a way that the mind lets you know about events in your life. I you fall and don't get up right away it means that their is a point in your live where you will be at a low and it will take some time to get through. If you fall and get up slowly it means that their will be a low point where you will get it slowly. If you fall and get up straight away it means that you will be able to fight your battle quickly with no trouble.

Since I had a high fever this past week, I experienced some really crazy dreams in the moments that I did get to sleep. Some of them aren't worth mentioning since I clearly don't get what the point was. There was one dream, however, that took me by surprise.

I dreamt that there was a rule that if you wanted to fall asleep, you had to go through a period of suffering first. The suffering was in the form of experiencing other dreams that make absolutely no sense; so little sense that it feels like suffering. As I slept, I wondered if the whole world was going through the same thing. I missed the times when I could just lie down and comfortably drift off when I wanted to sleep.

It was really weird. My fever's over now, so my sleep quality has returned to normal. These dreams are why I hate having fevers.

Sorry to all to have been absent for some time but im back now!

Fever dreams are common for not making any sense and i this case it is still true. In your dream you said that you that there was a rule that you had to suffer, well that is just a way your subconcious tells your body that it is trying to fight the fever even while you try to sleep. In truth they are not like common dreams but rather a communiction between you mind and body during the illness to convay the message that the fight must go on.

Im glad to hear that you have recovered from the fever.

In order for anyone to understand this dream, you have to understand the stupid policy in my school. What it is: School spirit. What it basically consists of is pep assemblies, in which we are forced to sit in the gym and listen to the band playing loud music while watching idiots doing idiotic stuff below us, while we are forced to yell, occasionaly. Also, a major part of this is something known as "The Great Stick", a plastic pipe that every grade wants, for some reason. A group of my friends have likened it to idol worship, and call school spirit "a pagan god", and "a malevolent one, at that".

Anyway, my dream was this. I went to school and saw that the buildings were all shaking. No one was going inside. The principal (I'll call her Dr. Hxm here) walked outside, carrying "the Great Stick". She said, "Those of you who are faithful to the School God, come here! Everyone else, you shall be damned for all eternity!" I laughed. A few people went over to her. Then she planted the stick into the ground. A black portal opened around its base, and out of it these

started coming out. Many people panicingly flocked over to her. I stood there with my friends, though, and said, "You are summoning something that is beyond your control. I've known you were stupid, but that stupid? I am surprised." I got out a machine gun, and began to shoot the things (called Shadow heartlesses). They began to die. And then someone yelled...

"NINJAS! THOUSANDS OF THEM!" There were a lot of ninjas, but, perhaps, not a thousand. They fell upon the heartless and killed them with ease. They took Dr. Hxm away. I thanked them. One walked over to me, showed me a badge, and said, "I'm from the Bush Apathy Enforcement Squad. You're not apathetic and ignorant enough. We'll have to take you in for questioning." I laughed and woke up.
