It is common for items to become a symbol of great power and even an thing of worship, not all item are malevolent. The are usually worshiped in a way that is different to a religious idol, rather in a way of something that must be praised then gained to show a power.

The people who went to the pole/stick are showing that they are nothing more than sheep following in a flock and the shadow heartless are those that may have gone before and did the same. You and your freinds are ones who are able to show individualism and not be sucked into seeing how trivial the sports event really is and the ninja are those before you who also showed that they are individuals and will fight to support others suck as you and your friends.

When the ninja said that they are going to take you away for questioning, that is the form that they use to find out why you all may have chosen to become individuals and possible to join the ranks of the free thinkers rather than the drones.

Quite a funny thing-

i dreamt that i was trying to put my shoe on and i couldnt and it was in an uncomfortable poisiton on my foot and as much as i tried it was jammed... then i woke up and realised my foot was kinda squashed up against a bar thing and i had been trying to ram my foot in it.

Well that one is quiet short and simple. You subconcious was trying to tell you to wake up and pull you foot out of that position because it was making you feel uncomfortable.

One of my professors told us that when she was in college, her roommate dreamt that the house was on fire, and then she sleepwalked to the fidge, got a can of CheezWiz (thinking it was a fire extinguisher) and sprayed it everywhere, screaming, "FIRE!!"

A friend of mine dreamt that he was eating a really stale sandwich and woke up with is pillow in his mouth.

Well those dreams are not uncommon. If she drempt that her house was one fire it seems that she has a fear of being traped in a fire and she was expressing how this fear still has a hold of her even when she sleeps.

As for the guy eating his pillow thats not uncommon, it means that he, as you said, was dreaming of food in his sleep. He may need to have something to eat before he goes to bed to try and keep his mind off the food.

I my self had a similar dream like that many years ago. I was 9 years old and I had a large stuffed (plush) panther that sat on my dresser across the room from my bed. I drempt one night that it came to life and pulled me out of bed and was playing with me. The next morning I woke up on the floor with the panther beside me. I was told that it was a sleeping desire to be able to play with the panther again because I had not in a long time, it was just sitting there on the dresser.

I dreamt that it was the first day of the school year at my high school. It wasn't really pleasant because I was scared of getting late to my homeroom class. The school was divided up into "wings" and I had to rush from place to place to get stuff done. I think I had to rush to the computer lab in order to pick up my class schedule. Having to get there and return to homeroom in five minutes was kind of scary. Everything moves really slow, so it got me nervous.

I also dreamt that R.E.M. actually played a 2nd show in Hawaii (after their appearance in 1984). They were on a stage in a field, and there were ordinary folding chairs on the grass for the audience. I remember walking up along the sides and taking a seat near the front. I knew they played a few songs, but the only one I can remember is their cover of "Superman" by the Clique.

It's funny how I dreamt about being at an R.E.M. concert after I made up a fictitious story about it in the Tavern Feedback thread. Geez, I wish it'd really happen.

guitarguy, Your first dream of you running to different parts of your school is in fact a representation of how like most people your life is split into the different events and situations that you face day to day and your mind is putting you to the test to see if you are able to cope with all of the effort needed to work through it. If you find a way to get through it in your dreams then you will find a way to cope with it in your waking life.

Your second dream is like an encore of the R.E.M coming to play that second show, although you drempt of them in Hawaii for a second time, that is rather the encore of an event in your life, somthing may have happened in your life that was changing of important and it is happening again or in a similar style.

Dragon_Slayer, I didnt know that mental institutions had computers available for the commitited? Are thet the padded kind?

On to your dream, You were dreaming about change or being different from the common. It is like you are no longer one of the sheep that follows in the heard, you have become different in a way that is new to other people and they are not sure how to respond. Im not sure what happened and these are just possibilities that i list: you may have become Goth, told people your Gay, you may have different Religious beliefs. Whatever it is that has changed you fear what others may think and how they may respond to it. The best way is to tell people what it is and whatever it may be, have no shame in it and do not feel different if it makes you happy then who care what other people think, to hell with them. It is good that people can stray away from all of the norm that society places on people.

This is a true story

This morning I fell back to sleep after the alarm went off.

Anyway... 45 minutes later I had a dream.

It was the green HCM screen and I had a message in my inbox that read:

Quote:
Pfft stop dreaming.  Thass enough of that

Oh, I woke up racking my brains as to the last HCM I had sent, and then got out of bed to be greeted by all of you, and some lovely spam that Iris cooked me up for breakfast

A while ago (while I was still in China), I dreamt that Vlaad was a mad scientist.    He was hiding behind a wooden door holding a test tub of glowy stuff.  And he had sexy blonde assistant.

Jetlag does weird stuff to people...

I seem to always have really wierd dreams that tend to never make any sense at all.

Whenever I am sick, my dreams are always the same...I'm a little kid running through everyone's backyards, running away from this huge mean dog.  The dog has teeth bigger than my hand and is trying to eat me.  When I can't run anymore...I fall to the ground and the dog comes over to me and then out of nowhere, a huge figure....looks to be a man...comes and grabs the dog and chops it's head off right in front of me.  I scream and then the guy tells me to leave...and never come back again.  The dream is always like that...never different.

Also....I went to a different school for grades pre-school thru 8th grade.  Then I came to my new school (high school) for 9th grade.  This dream was right before my 9th grade grade year...last year...and I was trying to get to my classes and I finally found my 1st class....which was some kind of poster making class....lol.  It was wierd...when I got in the class, I was late...and there were 3 people from my old school in the class.  They weren't supposed to be there because they all went to 3 different high schools.  I walked in and they were like...."MARIAH!!!!  WE SIGNED UP IN THIS CLASS JUST TO BE WITH YOU!!!"  Then I looked around and there were a bunch of gothic kids holding up signs.  They just kept staring at me and I was sooooo confused as to why my friends from my old school were there and why I was even in that class.  Then I walked right out of the class and tryed to open my locker.  I couldn't get it so I kept kicking it....then a janitor showed up and sawed my locker door right off.  lol....when it fell off.....a ton of people started running out of my locker and ran me over.  Then I pulled a gun out of my pocket and shot everyone....including the principle and the janitor.  Verrrry wierd.

Another dream was rather scray....I had done somethi8ng (god knows what) to tick my dad off.  He got extremely angry with me and put me in my brother's car and tied me to the seat.  He then put a brick on the gas and a container of gasoline in the passenger seat.  He started the car and let me go......I crashed right into a car coming my way and blew into a million pieces.....I woke up right there and my body was actually aching all over....I think it was because I was really tense.  I was all sweaty too and couldn't get back to sleep.

I once had a dream where I was in the back of a van which was driving down a windy road in the rain and it was my job to throw a toaster into the canyon at the right moment in order to sabotage someone several miles away giving a speech.

Oh, yeah, and we got attacked by a bear right before the dream ended.

weirdest dream

I was on the roof of a skyscraper and i had a bunny with me and then suddenly a black hole started "growing" on the roof, consuming everything   until there was nothing left. Just before I woke up I was considering which choice to make: jumping the roof or dissapearing

Duh!!! That's an easy one!!!

Jumping = guaranteed death

Getting swallowed by the black hole = a theoretic possibility of reappearing in another universe
