i found this site when i was searching for h3 tactics and stuff like that. i joined this place cause this place is so simple and the others are very complicated

hey im new and i found the site looking for the old heroes and might and magic games i love em but i lost most of em when i moved and wen i reformated my computer.

My memory is somewhat fuzzy about HC events prior to this past January through March, but I do know what basically went on. A little over two years ago, I was searching the Web for information to help me with various Heroes 2 and 3 campaign maps. I didn't feel the need to become a member yet because I was only looking to read information from existing posts.
About a year after that, I needed help because I couldn't get a H3 Zone game started. I got an HC account and asked for help in the Library. My post was mostly ignored, but at least one or two people replied. One of them might've been Angelito, but I don't think he was a mod yet. Whatever info I received didn't really work for me, so I was stuck being unable to play Heroes online.
Other than to check on my question post, I didn't do anything else on HC. There was a long period after that when I uninstalled my copy of Heroes 3 and I thought I'd never pick it up again. I forgot my HC account info in the process. As is obvious, I got a new account in November 2004. I had started playing Heroes 3 again, and I had a question about campaigns or the online problem again. I don't remember which. This time, I was here to stay. From the Library, I branched out to most of the forums. To this day, I've largely avoided the ToH, WoG, and Glade forums.

Me too. I was searching for HoMM2 maps and found Age of Heroes, where I found HC.

I found HC trying to find some strategy to beat Adela(one of my friends was always playing castle and had her as main).I read a while different threads, then i decided to start posting aswell.I'm glad i'm here

I was at the peak of my game... (AI gaming that is)
when a close friend (and only person I played) sent me the link to HC.
He excitedly explained that on this "site", these "heroes players" are claiming that "tactic's" is better than implosion... that mass haste or mass slow is better than chain lightning... that a might hero is better thatn Solmyr!!! AND they don't go for capital right away!!!
.... I don't want to talk about the rest!
