Where did the time go

Have you ever gone out at night, and got so tied up in something that you find yourself going home to the afternoon sun?

This thead is just for those such stories.

I will start off with a couple such incidences that I remember causing me problems.

about 10 years ago, when I was but a mere child of 11-12 years, I went out with my uncle and a couple cousins of mine to a movie, afterwards we decided to order some pizza and play risk. our Pop runs dry eventually, the pizza is all gone, when all of a sudden the phone rings. my mom was calling because I was going to be  late for my soccer tournament. my first game started at 1pm.

Another time this happened was when I went to my cousins to play some hotseat 3man H2 starting at about 8pm, we ordered more pizza, (come to think of it for a guy who made 3$ a hour babysitting I spent alot of money on food) and 16 hours later, at noon, I look at the clock only to realize im gonna be in trouble if I dont get home soon, because I have a baseball game to goto out of town for 2pm, I jumped on my bike and gave'er, got to baseball on time.

i've come to the realisation that as a little kid, sleep really isnt all that important. now a days if I dont get a nights sleep it haunts me for half a week.

My parents always used to bug me about getting enough sleep as I grew older. It's all of the responsibilities and stress that comes with growing up that makes sleep all the more important, it seems. Of course, I sleep a lot less now than before, and I take longer make-up naps than before.

Well I must say that I can no longer pull-off a 20+ hour 2 vs 2 game and still be the same guy in the office!@

Its pretty informative to know that u once could. Man, u crazy...
Staying up all night until day comes is my boring everyday routine. Especially during summers. Now getting in bed before midnight, that hasnt happened in ages.

My advice to everyone is to get a good night's rest whenever possible. It really makes a difference during the daytime.

I hate to be a hypocrite, but I still find myself staying up very late. I'd like to thank a certain jester friend of mine who resides somewhere in Canada for allowing me to witness those great many beautiful sunrises!

time flies for me when im playing video games, or when im drunk..

yer the last time i remember alot of time flying was when i was playing my friend in Fifa 2005 at his house, we are really evenly matched and the games are really gud to watch.. anywayz we started playing at like 10 in the morning, after spending most of the nite playing, and then i feel my phone ringing, my mum wondering when i was coming home. The time was 5pm, during those 7 hours, we did nothing but play 10 minute games over and over. No toilet breaks, no eating food, no drinks, just playing. I was shocked it had been 7 straight hours, only felt like 1 or 2 at the most..

once i was playing KOTOR (surely you must've heard of it), i spent around 6 hours playing it all night. then i falled asleep. when i got up i saw my brother opened a new game and playing it. worse part is that i forgot to save my game. was it waste of time? no, it's all about having fun
