there are 2 good free software that get rid of spyware like Ad-aware and Spybot search and destroy.

Both work for me and used together, you'll be covered on all spyware. (almost)

The good thing is that they are free and they work very well.

As for spyware, they are files that get downloaded on your hard drive without your knowledge and that track your every movement on the web. After that, they send you pop ups that match your surfing preferences, so you'll be more likely to click on them. That's the main reason they exist, but they have side effects. The makers of spyware don't really care about you or your computer, so it might happen that a certain spyware downloaded on your hard drive freezes or crashes your computer, or might make some programs unable to run. They are not intended to do so, but this is why they are such a pest ... that and the pop ups they give you.

On the page where the above-mentionned programms can be downloaded, you can read all about spyware and their affects.

Hope this helps.

dude, I know, since I have them on my comp and did not pay for them.

For ad-aware, you can get it here

In the middle of the page on the right, click on the DOWNLOAD and you'll see it's free. Then the program quarantines the files which renders them inactive.

But when I click remove items on noadware, they say u'll have to register to remove them. N registering costs money.

I guess I'll try spybot again although I did try it just now and I received noadware.. maybe spybot is free..

I don't know where you found this "noadware" program, but you're looking for a program called "Ad-Aware". I was slightly confused about the name when I first used it, as well. That and Spybot S&D, as mentioned earlier, are pretty decent programs.

You wouldn't have gotten in this mess to begin with if you

A) Used Firefox instead of IE.
B) Didn't look at so much free internet pr0n.

Spyware is an internet virus that is cause because of one of the following:

1. you were looking at porn on a net page from another country.

2. you were one a net page from another counrty that was not free to view.

3. someone saw that you were on a net page of another country and changed your server to that country.

Causes:

1. If you have pre-paid internet you will be billed for international calls because your server has been changed.

2. spyware came infiltrate into your computer and slow its processing speed.

3. Other programs can be loaded onto your computer each time you log on line.

If you are not able to get those free anti-virus programs than you can try norton anti-virus. If that and anything else does not work then you will have to wipe your computer and start again.

Trust me on this because this happened to me and i had to wipe my computer and put norton on asap.

Spyware is going to eat your first born child.

No seriously, I hate it. Only because it give me popups every 6.2 seconds. I don't care if they hack into my email account, but for gods sake no popups!! And I cant use Pop-up blockers on this site either, can I?

service pack 2 really helps with popups I found.

But what really get you rid of popups are Ad-aware and Spybot. They worked wonderfully for me.

Maybe it meant some Trojans aren't stopped by Adaware, in which case you aren't any worse off.
