How much expierence is needed to get level?
I thought about one thing: is it possible to count how much expierence needs heroe if he wants to get for example - 35 level? Is there any system or mathematic progression? I don't get it.
There are stats which I found out but I don't find anything connected between these values, could anyone help?

I´m not sure to which version of Heroes your experience ladder belongs, but surely NOT to Heroes 3.
Check that again, in the editor perhaps....

Are you sure that these numbers are wrong?
Because my map editor (HOMM3: SoD v3.2) shows the same.. 
Actually, I am programming one simple game. I am HOMM3 fan (not so good player as most of you and I like levels system in this game - it is easy to get low levels and hard to get high ones - good balance. If for example, in my game it would be possible to get level - 155 - it would cost really much expierence and if there is any mathematic progression in HOMM3 system I could use it and count that.

By the way, I think that really only few players check how much expierence they need for next level, because it was really strange to see that:
if you want to get from level 6 to level 7 - it will cost you 1700 expierence - even more than from 7 to 8 - it needs only 1300. It looked very strange for me..

I can´t check it on the computer right now, but i´m pretty sure, that one level (9 or 10) needs exactly 10.000 points and the next step will need 12.200, the following 14.700....if i remember correct, the 2 next steps are 17.500 and 20.600

Create a map with the editor, place 1 hero (red color)with 0 exp.points and 20 "Trees of knowledge" around him.
Place a blue castle and hero on an island.
Save it and play this map.
Make a screenshot from your experience points after every Tree u have visited.
And then compare it with the numbers shown on your ladder....

Thx for those numbers csarmi, now i can explain how the level ups work:
From Level 1 till Level 12, they are just "handmade".
The differences between these levels are always
1000 +
0 (to level 3)
200 (to level 4)
400 (to level 5)
600 (...)
800
1000
1200 (to level 9)
1500 (to level 10)
1800 (to level 11)
2100 (to level 12)
From level 13 till....(the end i guess... ), it works like this:
The difference between 2 following levels always raise by 20%.
Example:
Difference between Level 11 (17.500) and Level 12 (20.600) are 3.100 points
Difference between Level 12 (20.600) and Level 13 (24.320) are 3.720 points
3.720 is 20% more than 3.100
Difference between Level 20 (81.961) and Level 21 (97.949) are 15.988 points
Difference between Level 21 (97.949) and Level 22 (117.134) are 19.185 points
19.185 is 20% more than 15.988

And by the way, it is really strange that numbers mismatch. :/ I think my HOMM3 has bugs.

You could find MANY more faults in the manual or in the editor though...
