Poll Question:
Poll: HEROES, Diablo, Half-Life, Counterstrike, and of course, Starcraft
What's with these ratings?
Computer Gaming World just recently sent out a poll on the 50 most favorable games.
#1 was Half-Life, #2 Counterstrike, #7 Starcraft, #8, Diablo..... AND HEREOES ENDED UP #18!!!!!
Can you believe that?!@$#!% Well, I can. But, I need to know if anyone is still ALL in Heroes and thinks that it's better than ALL THE GAMES ON THE LIST. I mean, I have Starcraft, Half-life, Counterstrike, and Diablo, and THEY ARE ALL VERY GOOD. I mean I don't play a lot, but I'm a very experienced gamer (not to brag or make others feel bad...seriously, I'm stating for a reason), and I know how to judge these games. Personally, I think Half-life deserves #1, but STARCRAFT!@#!%? I like Starcraft, but personally, I think Diablo is DA BOMB, should be beyond SC. I got bored of SC cuz no sequels. But I think Heroes deserves better. Don't u think? ANYONE OF YOU THINK THAT HEROES IS BETTER THAN DIABLO AND STARCRAFT? I dunno anyone who does, but it'll be nice to. I mean, it may get boring if u play 24/7 but 3DO is making improvements every sequel, and personally, it's turning out better and better. Anyone else think so? But if not, anyone might make any suggestions that might make Heroes better and I'll e-mail to 3DO. But the game has come a LONG WAY. Still, there should be some things changed. But overall, I think it's worth the $60 for Heroes 4, although I'm not gonna get it right away cuz I'm gonna be busy for a while. So as soon as u guys get, update me k? ty (thank you)  On other news, who's incharge of the Heroes community? And Valeriy, if u ever get aim, tell me it. I haven't seen u on icq lately. later all and peace out.
O, and since Heroes is a direct 10 places below Diablo and Diablo II, 3DO is trying very hard to beat Diablo. aka DEAD HEAT BETWEEN HEROES AND DIABLO II Anyone think they'll make it? I'm rooting. If one day, Heroes does beat Diablo, maybe I'll be happy. But in the meantime, I still think Heroes has a lot to improve to beat Diablo, like better multiplayer. ANYONE THINK THAT HEROES SHOULD HAVE A BETTER MULTIPLAYER, LIKE BLIZZARD GAMES? ANYONE THINK THAT HEROES SHOULD HAVE BATTLE.NET CHANNELS OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT? IT"LL BE NICE.
Right now, I would like to have a poll for other people to decide. Here's the question:

Still, malkia, don't you think it's interesting to predict the future, rather than just letting it come to you? I think it's worth while. And on the topic, Anyone think that Heroes needs to have better multiplayer options? like battle.net or something?

And wow, I didn't know that a lot of people like Heroes better than all the top favorite games. And on a further note, plz post something if u submit a vote, that way I'll know who u r. thanks

Hmmm Warcraft3 will slay them all!
How much I love Heroes.. and how much I love Diablo.. And starcraft and smash brothers and Bulders gate.. I still Like warcraft most.. They made some stupid cuts.. but still I LOVE THE GAME!!!!

Warcraft is from the same makers as diablo and Starcraft...
The first two Warcraft series did suck..
But wait till war3 comes out... LOL! Then he will get much higher.. They didnt taked War3 in it.. because it isn't finished yet.. elshwere it had become 1.

Is it me or is your choice extremely limited i mean half-life and counterstrike are the same game and two of the other choices are blizzard games. So i vote for "other"

Heroes of might and magic is the best serie ever.
Max Payne is quite fun, but nothing compares to Homm !!

Homm4 i love because of the creatures
Diablo I love of the creatures and Heroes and the main characters and i love the Graffics.
Warcraft=To perfect in all ways.
Starcraft=Missions are difficult and Cool to play..
All this Games have MANY fantasy in it.. Only haven town not..
I'm against games without any fantasy.. games like command and conquer and fifa30957303275983704 are Boring games same with all racing games!(hmmm maybe mario cart.)

I read the top 50 games in pc gamer also...very interesting. I havn't played most of the action or futuristic games though so I'm not a fair judge on which is best. However, I don't think I can agree with how pc gamer did their rankings.
First off Black and White was higher than heroes of might and magic. I read the reviews of black and white and they were mixed. It is supposedly an innovative game...possibly spawning a whole new generation of gaming...but it was buggy and not all that playable. Anyway, if it is not flawless I don't see how it compares to the entire heroes of might and magic seris.
Also, civII was #2 I think and I did play that. It was a great game but when I saw cavalry fighting tanks and machine guns at the end I just couldn't buy the whole thing. I don't care how in depth it is.
Personally, I get pissed with pc gamer everytime they say something like "this will be a great strategy/roleplaying game but people may take offense to the dated 2d graphics". Shut your face pc gamer! I take offense to the need for ultra cool graphics at the expense of playability. Graphics are nice but its not why I play a game.

...StarCraft/BroodWar
sorry kids, as much as I love HoMM, SC/BW has the best story I've ever seen in a game (strategy or not) and it by all means is a classic... when I played SC for the first time I was speachless with the depth of the story, when BW came out I gave it a try... I was stunned!! never thought they could keep the same story depth and quality... hope SC2 comes out soon (just hoping, Blizzard sez nothing)
but then again, when HoMM4 comes out that may change...
BTW: I really hope both SC2 and HoMM5 are 3D...

Starcraft 2
Is the next big game that comes out when war3 is finished!
I think they will first make the expansion of war3.. then they bring out Starcraft.. they already working on it.. But they will first Finish warcraft. Starcraft will be made in the same graphics war3 is made from! 3D!

I couldn't decide inbetween my two favorite games: Heroes or Diablo. Those are the two, but seeing that this is a Heroes comunity, I will say Heroes.
