Well, I love werewolves, so I woudn't mind to have one in.
They should make it a lvl-5 lvl-6 creature.

Ok, time for my optinions on this town and some brief creature ratings.

In your brief history you said that the Necromancers flee east to the haunted valley of Heresh, but are then invaded and crushed by the Silver League. So the Necromancers are really no longer a faction of Acadamy and Haven. The have been exiled and branched off. Wouldnt you say that Heresh is there kingdom?
Skeleton
Lose the helmet and lose some of the clothing. The helmet makes him look like one of the losers from army movies who wears a helmet too big for his head and can barely see under it. Also whats with the green gas comming out of his head? I always assumed that to be a feature of the zombie (abomminations from W3).

Zombie
Someone mentioned this earlier but the zombie reminds me too much of frankenstein! His body looks like someone sewed him together with different limbs from different people. Lose the stitches, well at least the ones in the head. I have always imagined zombies being summoned by a lich from dead bodies, not some slave worker removing their brains and stitching them back up.

Ghosts
I dont really like them. Too much green, too many of them. All the rest isnt bad though, the shackles and overall design isnt bad. Not much else to say.

Vampire
Not bad, i like it but just a few issues to address. Firstly the ponytail is a bit queer. Makes him sort of look like a Japanese Samurai! Also if you look in the picture of him battling the priest he seems to have huge sideburns! Just doesnt work for me. Also the sword, why would a vampire attack with a sword? How does he life drain? Seems out of place to me and also adds to the samurai feel. Other than that its a good design.

Lich
I like it alot. The elegant gown could be a bit too much and for some reason the is bandaging around the arms. This is a Lich, not a mummy! Should turn out well in 3D buit i hope the gown thing isnt as wide and flowing as it looks

Wight
Great, love it. Reminds me of LOTR. Excellent design, colouring and well... everything. The only problem i have is that his right hand looks way out of proportion, its like a monster hand

Bone Dragon
Best creature i have seen so far. The o0nly problem i have is that the Dragon seems to have the posture of a dog or bear. Most Dragons i have ever seen in a Heroes game stand up tall, mainly on theiir hin legs and only use the front ones for support, and when on all fours they dont hunch over like that. It almost looks like a cat getting ready to pounce.

hmmm..Skeletons,yeah,i bet they'll be in every Heroes.
Zombies... cool! Reminds me of Heroes III!
Ghosts,thank the war gods,its gonna be the best Heroes yet.
Vampires... Wouldn't play whitout em!
Liches...Whaaah! The Liches are coming! Alright!
Wight...A bit lower in the level,i think,but...ok!
Bone Dragons...Please, tell me the pic is bad, they look like panthers!

Skeleton
I never liked skeletons too much, this has more the look of warcraft 3, which isn't a bad thing, for the first time, they wont suck so bad. I think that if the skeletons were to only have 1 shoe, then they should only have one foot. The bow is great, the biggest problem i had with necropolis is that lich were only ranged, and i didn't like the way they did it too much, bows rule!

CHUBBY CHUBBY! lol, i like zombies, but it annoys me that they are so slow, same as those golems we all love to hate, ever seen the movie dawn of the dead?? GREATEST MOVIE EVER!!!! of course then it would be so crazy good
i dont like the weight of these things, but at least now they have a reason for being so slow

whats with the 3 together, and i think they should all look different, it would be cooler. im getting the feel of attack of the space zombies when i look at the picture

I LOVE VAMPIRES, minor changes: put the hair down, looks more evil that way; make the sword shorter and give him 2; i almost feel like he should be dressed in white, like they do in books but its great the way it is

Well, it seems that stuff is modern, so I'll give it a try.
Skeleton: It's nice how necromancers will now have huge amounts of ranged units. The boots suck.
Zombie: Looks like Warcraft III Abomination to me.
Ghost: I already mentioned them, but just to be on the safe side - they look stupid!
Vampire: Whatever. They can't make 'em right anyway.
Lich: The pentagram thingy is silly. And it was some lame color too.
Wight: Since you're at it, why don't you make him look like Grim from "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy"?
Bone Dragon: Aging > Charge. Fact!
Oh, and by the way, Children of Bodom aren't deth metal band, capiche?

"Skeleton Archers have no will of their own and will always shoot in the general direction of the enemy, with poor precision.
Although all non-magical attacks against them are consequently more likely to miss, Spectral Dragons are far weaker than the legendary creatures they used to be.
Spectres have the ability to drain mana out of their enemy to restore their own energy (maybe regeneration).
The superior mastery of the dark arts, of the Vampire Lords, allows them to change their appearance into a bat at will. This gives them a wider range of attack and allows them to evade a melee at will."

Just great... I thought they were going to get rid of the whole "Berserker" bit from Heroes IV. At least the Berserkers made up for it by having a pretty high attack for their level, but poor precision. I can't believe this!

I wouldn't interpretate that it's not controlable, in one of the videos, skeleton archers shot when Fabrice told them to, perhaps that changed... Or perhaps that means that they will do not much damage afterall or perhaps that the stack will miss ? Time will tell...

True. Most of the up'ed units are full of snow.
About the skeletons... no one can divide me from the ability to control my own units! But wait, they don't have will, it makes some sense... yeah, guess what, smartass, most undead don't have will, they just obey their master... and that would be me! Whatever, I just hope it's something else.
Vampires turning to bats? Stupid and boring. Unless it's only for moving purposes, which it's not.

The Necropolis looks sweet and I just wanted to comment on the zombies being fat like the peasants... I thought it was a cool idea they had there, makes plenty of sense to me.

skeleton
just terrible, why is it wearing a full breast plate?? i like to see some rib cages on my skeletons, and the 'skeletal' special ability will make no sense now. also the skull is oddly shaped, looks like the skull of the deformed or retarded. the archer's much better though.

zombies have never looked good so i guess this one is ok. i don't like the excess fat and the stiches but i do like the badass butcher's knives they are carrying.
now it actually looks like they can do some damage

the ghosts look like they were from some victorian ghost story, too much "pity us poor souls" than "we'll scare the hell out of you". the spectres, on the other hand, are much much much cooler.

why do they always mess up with the vampire? it's gone from "rat man" to "james bond" to what?? the cape's too short, the hair's too long, the boots are too big and what's with that sword? the vamplord's even worse

this is more like it, i actually missed the liches in h4, this is probably one of the best looking unit so far, i just love that spellbook, and there are not too much green around the upgraded version

the wight looks pretty cool, but a bit too much grim reaper about it, the wraith is too green. personally i'd perfered dread knights, they were much cooler

The Necropolis is finally what it is supposed to be! Dark, gothic and all, I just can't wait to get my hands on them. They all make sense in a way.. The Skeleton Archers will come quite powerful due to necromancy skill, so to balance it there is a negative aspect- the no will thing, that will cause them to shoot in the general direction of the enemy. However, some of your creatures are insubstantial and therefore they work well together. And ofcourse you don't have to upgrade them...
But there no telling yet how the creature abilities will work, so its just speculation.
And a lot of people are missing the Dread Knight, well so am I couse just have so meny great memories with them Still it is nice that they are not copying the Town from Heroes III, and the Wight seems (looking at his specialities) more than capable of stepping into our beloved knights shoes
The town is perfect in appearence - without the upgrades.. Especially the Wraight, way too much glow and color! Necropolis is better with a not so sparkling appearance. To the non-upgrades I'm 100% satisfied
