but that bone dragon looks even better than all other dragons. but I ike also the other 2 concep art.hmm... I would more want to see the attack of the wraith/wight ,how it would look like.guess you could do a lot of things with that scyte. better to leave it simple and without any kind of magic, I mean the attack.

lets see nec has been my fav town so...
Skeletons/ lookin good, except for the much complained about one boot thing...
Zombies/ hmmm fankensteins monster
Ghosts/ not quite sure about these yet (kinda looks like something out of hellraiser)
Vampire/ looks very simular to the von carstien bloodline out of the warhammer world but they look cool anyway. WTF is with the lords face it looks like melted wax...with sun glasses. I actually unlike many others here like the vamps sword
Lich/ cool my personal favourite
Wight/ excellent but the upgrade wraith looks terrible...too much colour and green glowing errr stuff
Bone Dragon/ what can i say i dragon made of bones...both models look excellent

They were neutral in H4, although their alignment was undead... I'm sure it'll work the same way in H5.

What I think:
Skeletons - Skeleton archers
Good, i like that they can be upgraded to archers, Necropolis seems to gain an advantage with hordes of low-level archers.
Ranking: 8
Walking dead - Zombies
Looks like they are the same unit than in the previous games. Slow, but has high hit boints. Their animation is very bad!
Ranking: 6
Manes - Spectres
The old Wigths-Warithes where better! They look silly in those trios! And they cant be raised! I simply hate them!
Ranking: 0
Vampires - Vampire lords
The animation is tons better than in heroes IV! They are perfect, but i don't understand what the vampire lords "bat-morph" does exept for transforming them to a bat.
Ranking: 10
Liches - Demiliches
Good that they don't kept the name "Archliches", that would have been to mutch "arch" I miss Venom spawn... (Why isn't it in Inferno)
Ranking: 8
Wigths - Wharites
I never learn to spell "Warithes" rigth (you know, the upgraded wigth) I like that they are back, but i don't like grim rapers and they should be back in their old place whit their old animations! A death knigth would have been tonns better! 
Ranking: 4
Bone dragons - Spectral dragons
Looks good Their upgrade is cool and I like it's new name, but it's bad that they are no Bone/Spectral dragon specialist necromancer!

Huh ? What do you mean they can't be raised...?
They can be... in fact they are like vampires, but instead of life they drain mana and regenerate back.
And since when wights or wraiths in Homm3 could be rised (without a combine arty ofc)...
And if they would have out in Black Knights/Dread Knights... it would be a replica of Homm3.

Can they? I belived that it was just skeletons who coud be raised (it stoud so on the necromancy description in Age of heroes) Or did you mean they can be raised by a spell in combat?
Yes I now wigths coud be raised whit that cloak in Heroes III SoD. I mean whitout that.
I now it should have been an replication of heroes III, but i think something like this should be better, dont you think?:

I think the lichnames have gone from bad to worse. I was no real fan of Lich->Archlich as it was not realy original. But I think Demilich is even worse. This is because Demi means half. This means you would upgrade an normal, 'full-lich' to a Halflich. That does not make any sence to me. If it were up to me, I would go back to the HOMM II Lich->Power Lich.
I also seem to be the only one who likes looks of the Wraith. I admit the have a weird glow. But I think they look like they have been drenched in Necromantic magic and to me that makes sence, as it would make them stronger. It reminds me of the Materiashowers of Final Fantasy 7.
I have nothing to complain about the others

The Power Lich name doesn't fit anymore, since it can cast spells... Arclich will remain, since the names which are in Beta test are not final. I personaly find Arclich alot better name than power lich...

Judging by the stats it looks like zombies will be the same crap like they are in HOMM3/4. Slow defending cannon fodder that nobody cares if u lose many of them in a battle.

Beside that, Necromancers were Academy's Wizards. Mage --> Archmage turns into Lich --> Archlich, very natural.
