Problem installing the game
I was wondering where do I post an inquiry on how to solve an installation problem. I am running windowsXP and can't seem to get heroesIII to install, about75 percent of the way through I get this message
an error occurred during the data moving process
Component: Program Files
File Groups: LangInde Program Files
File: H3sprite.lod

sorry man,this is wierd. i had Windows XP and the SAME thing happened to me too, i changed it wiith 2000,and it worked.That,umm,emptied my pockets,but the game worked after that. i'm not suggesting you to do the same,maybe the game is PIRATEed,or some other thing.Again,sorry man.

That is why i keep you guys that XP is a problem itself and the best is Windows 98.

Its possible top play on windows xp and do to play it on xp. simple as buying a new computer with xp installed already and installing heroes of might and magic 2 then install #3 it should.
It works for me

No game is worth me buying a new computer just to play it. Maybe one day when I need a new computer for multiple reasons. Why is it that worked though?

AND BTW
Windows xp so far has been the best windows I have ever used. It is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more convenient than 98 and 2000. Doesnt have nearly as many problems
