Quote: Usually play Total War online. My alltime favorite game was and is Oblivion elder scrolls. I think it's because of all the Mods that have been made available. Hope I haven't broken any rules by mentioning other games "wups".
We have an entire section devoted to other games... it's called other games. Link.

Glad you decided to join. I hope that you'll stay for a while.
Thanks I appreciate the welcome and the link I'll check it out sometime. I had a problem with my PW and just now figured out how to ask for it....I'm getting old I guess. Anway I'm back on...

Quote: Yes, Grey, HOMM V was tough. There were some glitches in the campaigns, so use the Walkthroughs here if you need them.
Also, I think the Mods allow you to mention other games here. If not, I'm sure they'll let you know. haha
I ashamed to admit it but I decided to cheat got tired of getting my butt kicked. Next time I play thru I'll not cheat. I almost made it to the end but just couldn't.... Ah who am I kidding I just love to create huge armies and kick butt...

Yes, I cheated in the campaigns too, when they got too tough. I had more fun that way as opposed to losing and trying again and again. hahaha

Hiya guys! ^^
I recently joined the forum, maybe day before Christmas.
Decided to join due to quite a big community of HoMM players and fact there's a lot of info here which will help me. Or even Mods for games.
I played all HoMM except for 1st one, and 6th which I do own, works on my laptop but really laggy even on low settings (Dell XPS 15), which kinda is pity.

Quote: I do say, Grey, if you become a regular here that it will be good to have an American poster other than Blizz, Elodin and Meroe to talk to. It's perfectly fine to mention other games in most sections of HC, but mostly as comparisons or as minor mentions, not full topics. For games that you want to discuss other than HOMM, then follow the link I provided in the last post and feel free to start up a new thread.
@ Dom, It's appropriate to mention who you are and what you like in an intro thread.
Thanks Gnomes for the information regarding posts as I've stated before I'm not very up on BB's or posting. Mainly I jump on for information regarding tips or help on something I'm stuck at. So where should I go from here? Do I just stay in the new comers area?
Have a great New Year!

Go ahead and post in any of the forum sections you want! The one titles Heroes 6 will be about the most current game, 6+ is creative exercises (making your own factions and the like), The tavern is for stuff that isn't quite so serious and the Volcanic Wastelands are for spam. The Glade is for RPG's.

Hi everyone! Heroes iii was the first computer game that I have played! My older brother brought it home one day and my 7 year old life was changed. Back then we didn't have much money and the disc i had was burned from my brothers friend cd. Now I am 17 and sadly the burned disc isnt working, however I recently bought heroes 3 complete and my brother gave me his old copy of heroes iv. I was really excited when I opened up my copy of heroes iii complete as there was two more expansion packs! Back when I was 7 , the disc I had was roe . My only disappointment was that the complete didn't have the archangel and his flaming sword on the main menu anymore. I installed heroes iv but i couldn't get into it. It just seem so alien. I hope one day I can get over it. Sadly I couldnt find anyone who played homm in my school. I was depressed until I found this forum. Some posts were even way back in 2001! I am really glad this forum is alive! I hope it will be alive forever! I am proud to be a member of heroes community! I wish heroes community a happy new year! Everyone in this forum are heroes to me!!!!!
