Yes, that’s correct.
Jim is not a strange name in Sweden. There are two others not too far away from where I live. “English” names like Emma, John, William, Robin and Caroline are very common, not everyone is called Harald, Ingvar, Svea, Birger, Inga, Rolf or Göte.

How about Thor, Freia, Karli, Siggurd, Sven (!!!), and Smörrebröd?

Sven is a common name.
Thor/Tor is not that strange either.
Freia is stranger.
Siggurd is strange.
Karl, which means man, is a common name too. Karli would be the feminine version of Karl and does not exist.
Smörrebröd is a Danish name.

Hello everyone. I just discovered Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Complete about a couple of weeks ago and I am enjoying it immensely. I can't believe this game never caught onto my radar until now.

Hey guys! I'm also new here and will now tell a bit of my Heroes-past 
It started when I was maybe 7 or 8 years old. A friend of my brother showed HOMM3 to us and I loved it from the beginning! I played Restoration Of Erahia many years until one of my friends showed Heroes 4 to me. It needed a few years for me to notice the two expansions of Heroes 3. When I got them I began to like Heroes 3 the most of all. After I played Heroes 5 and its expansions for a long time I saw a video on youtube about WOG. I downloaded it and played a lot again until I got the information of HOTA. I have tried to find it since it can be downloaded. One day I found this page and because I think Heroes is on of the best games that will ever been made I decided to become a member of this community!

Hey, everyone!
I'm HipAlbatross, or Albatross for short. I've played HoMM3 ever since I was about eight. It is easily one of my favorite games of all time, and definitely my favorite strategy game of all time. That's saying something, considering I love and own every game Ensemble has ever made.
I have also played HoMM2 out of interest. My respects to that game, as it is quite fun and has great art and music. Best of all, H3 wouldn't exist without it!
As for HoMM4... I realize it is unpopular with most of the community, but I can't really say much because I haven't played it. I not to fond of most of the changes in the game, and I'm definitely not fond of the art style. But like I said, I can't take a stance as I've never played it.
Lastly, HoMMV. While I'm angry at Ubisoft and Nival for nearly turning the game into a Warcraft ripoff(*sniffle*I miss the old Dungeon*sniffle*), I'm still interested in buying the game as it looks fun in its own right and is much closer to the HoMM3 gameplay.
So that's about all there is for me and Heroes. I hope to see everyone around the forums and to have a great time!

But dark elves were in nordic mythology, not in warcraft. Anyways you should try h5 out, it's cool.
