Well you just summed up in 4 lines what we've been aguing about for 3 pages!
Once we minimized the cases of abuse, and help those who have the means to get back on their feet, the prejudice behind "social services" might one day die out.
One thing I failed to mention in "online community's" was how the one flaw I see (and have seen since my stay at HC) is that people tend not to explore the "why" behing and opinion or a comment. I may not understand why you think the way you do, but before I make my opinion of you, I'd be best to make sure I understand your background and where you're coming from.
