It's not green; I think it is some kind of glow of the underground cave where the combat takes place... Perhaps I should've chosen other screenshot.

Ahem...in 1 he's a puny guy ina Halloween costume,in II,i think he's the best,cuz he looks cool.In3,never like armor for bulls,it makes them look..to human.in 4 the're NAKED! In 5 they're too green! Voted 2. umm,are we winning? Alright!

Voted H3, anyone ever played might and magic 7 would meet a minotaur, not anyone would return alive from this situation... one of the scariest beast to face in the mm7 world - so should be in hmm5 (my opinion)
in mm7 they could cast a "Death" spell and kill units with single strike - now that's scary! maybe the size of the unit should take a roll in H5? i mean when a unit is 3-4 times larger (or at least have a strengh value) then it can kill the unit with a single blow.

I think the H3 Minotaur King looks the best, with the H2 version following closely behind. In H2, both the Minotaurs and the Magi shared a "burp" damage sfx, which I found quite absurd.
And I thought my stomach felt bloated.

I'm probably wrong, but I think the green shading comes from some kind of underground thingy.
The thing that bothers me about the H5 Mino, is their horns. It's looking like a ram's horns, not a bull's.
So, I voted H2, since I think it has an unique balance between detail and simplicity. It also has a helmet-like head, which should in theory be a minus, but just ends up giving the creature a really powerful image.
H2 Minotaur might very well be my favourite creature in the entire HoMM series.

What ruined it for me was the face, and the stance. They have been chained and degraded from their former glory. They used to be my favourite unit....
Now they slouch, they wear a chained mask which makes them look like they have a snout and have pathetic rams horns.
I mean it doesn't look bad by any stretch of the imagination, but it just doesn't look like the minotaur we know and love.

Ach, the H3 Minotaur is just ruined for me, with those ugly red eyes, and the crippled-looking bull's legs. It looks as if you only have to shine bright light at it, or give it a soft shove to get it off its feet.
The H2 one on the other hand, has stability, might and power written all over it.

maybe he's got the green skin fromm a garden maze who knows but I vote for the heroes4 this time .I have to admit that it is one of the few H4 creatures that actually looks real

heroes 1,2 minotaur looks as if you take a bull's head and a worrior body and mixe them togheter.what's so cool about that .yeas maybe tis is the basic description amon the legends but a minotaur sould have an imposing appearance that could bloew fear even into the most experienced warrior.

Heroes III version.
Heroes I & II is outdated.
Heroes V is cool but the Heroes III Minotaur King says: "POWER! ARRGH!"
Why don't you have a choice for every picture like Serjio did on CH?

I think that the HOMM I Minotaur looks like an athlet from the 60's (the outfit...). The HOMM II is cool, but a bit outdated. The HOMM IV is O.K, but not more than that. The HOMM V Minotaur has a strange, Gnoll like face, and what is the mark on it's forehead? (well maybe slaves are marked this way...). It stoped looking like a Minour, IMO, and now looks just like a monser (lost his unique look).
The HOMM III, on the other hand, looks cool, strong and half human half bull, just like it should, IMO, so I voted HOMM III.

The HOMM3 Minotaur King was a badass to be sure. I'm super highly disappointed that the minos were enslaved in HOMM5. If I can figure out how to alter the 3D sprites that Nival created then I plan on getting rid of the muzzle, adding a nice suit of bronze armor, and then giving them a fashionable necklace of Drow skulls.

If the M&M one had been on there I would have voted for it, it's cool, the one from Acid's patch. I think that's from M&M8, when you clear out the tritons from the minotaur lair, the guards?
I think I may have made a minotaur....
Not too different I don't think.
my vote goes to Heroes 3 for the originality (I think it looks the most like what a minotaur should look like) and cool-looking golden armor... it seems to also have the most variety (together with the patches and mods )

I vote Minotaur King from Heroes 3, though how can a whole army (say - 100) of minotaurs can be all Kings? 
I also like the ones in Heroes 5. Sad to see them being slaves though, but i guess that's to tune it with the Dark Elves.
