i think the drawing of the H5 vampire looks the best, but they all look bad in an actual battle. but thats what i think
except maybe the one on the centre left

I vote for the upgraded H3. It is by far the coolest and the most sinister.
The H2 one barely changes and the H4/5 ones are far too modern compared to the rest of the units in the game.

I think H5 Vampire got the best style 
BUT! Heroes 2 Vampie's "BLA!" sucks the other vampires dry. I just loved their attack because of the sound.
Since this poll is about looks, I voted H5 vamp.

Had to go with the homm3 Nosferatu- the Dracula wannabes of the other games are too cheesy.

I agree with valeriy in this one I love the H2 too much  and I don't care any other thing just the Blaah! thing so I voted H2

Yeah, I figured THAT out. I never liked Nosferatu much; true, it IS a great vampire, but somehow lacks the dignity of other versions. I know I sound like a fanboy, but the Count rules!
So I've voted for H2.

I think the unupgraded h5 vamp looks the best but needs to lose the sword. That totally ruins the whole vampire idea.
Howbout those black eyes on the h5 upgraded version. Looks a little goofy.

Voted H2.
I like the idea more, "Dracula" is rather kind of "normal" looking than the Nosferatu style.
And Heroes 5....bah...since when does a vampire have some kind of "sword"??

Certainly H3. A timeless classic, and my favorite unit in H3.
The H5 "vampire" might resemble Vlad The Impaler *before* he became Dracula, but he has *nothing* in common with a vampire.

In 2 they're lame,they have something rat-like.In 3-same problem,combined with those ears.In 4,they're quite good.They would be perfect in 5 if not for that ponytail. think heroes 4 really saves the honor of the Vampire.

arg, the coolest unit in the game always look bad
i hate all of them but if i really had to choose i'd go for the h4 ones.

H2, without a shadow of a doubt.
How anyone can think that the HOMMV ones look good is beyond me. Seriously. I pray for good music and good gameplay.

I believe out of all those choices that the Vampire, whether it's upgraded or not, from Heroes III is my favorite. On the other hand, if they were to take the ponytail, and(no not cut it off) take it from being pointed up above it's head and put it behind it like a normal person. Then the unupgraded vampire from Heroes V would look good!

The Vampire Lord from H3 looks the best. It's got a more "natural" vampire look, as opposed to some actor dressed as a vampire (H2, H4) or as a hulky-super-hero vampire-guy (H5). The H3 version also has the look of an evil creature of some sort, a welcome change from the usual cliche.

If you didn't yet relized Vampire from H3 IS infact a creation of movies... In fact both vampires are the H2-4 versions and the H3 version.
Considering that Vampire is not yet seen we can't really tell what is the natural look and what is not.. It's clear that both designs are movie based.

Interesting. I must've missed a lot of those movies. Didn't even know there were that many. Either way, I think that creature-ish looking one is a lot more effective.
Vampires scare me.

Vampires always were "Romantic and seductive", don't know what so scary about them... the latest generation movies made them really scary and wild (Blade and the other new movies)
