Heroes III is the best! Especially with its stats!

Whoooo! Go my little skel... I mean Peasants GO!
Really though the Heroes III best shows a peasant, it's either that or I and II. Due to the fact that they look skinny and frail, but III takes the cake. (My cake that is... darn peasant...)

When I think of Peasants, I always think of the HoMM 2 image. That image is also my favourite. But in terms of abilities, I give the kudos to 4 and 5, since they have Taxpayer.

I think that the new HOMM V Peasant is best.
Well, the fat comes from their unhealthy diet (they just think of eating, not what or when, but only to eat!) snd the lords being kinder to them. As for equality, there is some, but still no Communism or anything like that, because than there will be no lords and the fuedal system (on which the game is based) won't be alive. The fact that there is some equality is indicated by the peasants serving as militia and getting training, but still not much (look at the other units and compare). The Peasants are hard working, decent (but not well educated) men, so it is natural for them to be strong and broad shouldered from working hard at the fields so much. Anyway, IMO, the new Peasants look more like real Peasants, and atleast now their stats and abilities (about time for them to have some - well done HOMM IV) make them be an average 1st level creature, and not completely useless as they were at HOMM I - III.
P.S: the HOMM III Peasants look like Marlyn Manson to me.

i rekon the heroes 1 peasent would look the best if it was re done and updated, not too keen on the newer ones as they look too fat and i swear the clothes the heroes 5 peasents wear are waaaaay to clean

Well, IMO, the Peasent is still weak compared to other 1st level creatures, but not as weak as before...
In HOMM I - III the Peasent was just the worse creature ever! in HOMM IV it got better, now it is the best, stat wise, from all peasents... but there is no way you can compare it with the Halbardier! the Halbardier was one of the best HOMM III 1st level units! although a bit slow, it was sturdy, with a lot of HO for it's level, with great skills, but a bit of a low growth... 30 is minimum growth for 1st level, as such creatures as imps or goblin got growth of 38, and sprites have growth of 50! but those, like most other creatures of the 1st level in HOMM III are weaker then the Halbardier... what a shame they lost this unit... it can become neutral though...

H5 version of course... remember kids, fat does not equal well fed... quality does not come with quantity ...ah well, not the first to note this anyway, but who is paying attention, right?

H1 - OLD AND UGLY
H2 - Good memories again, I like it a lot (And they are wielding a sickle not a scythe)
H3 - UGLY
H4 - They do look like peasants, unlike all the other HoMM peasants, but I hate them because they;re so damn UGLY
H5 - They have a BLUE, CLEAN shirt, are otherwise not-peasant like, wield somekind of....NOT A PITCHFORK, i know what a pitchfork looks like, not like this!, but I guess these are my favourite. ^^

The one from Heroes 2 looks the most peasant-like to me (it reminds me on the good old times...). The one from H5 has the second place for me.

The HOMM 5 one is unrealistic. He's really fat, but he's also very muscular. It's not easy to be both fat and muscular; sumo wrestlers have to work hard to keep themselves that way. If he's a that hard a worker, then why hasn't he burned off most of his fat? And if he's lazy, then where did those huge muscles come from? Definitely not one of the stereotypical peasant lifestyles.
Homm 4 is cartoonishly stupid, but more realistic as he is obviously a "lazy peasant".
Homms 1 and 2 would be the most realistic if they were drawn with enough detail to see these things. peasants have to work hard to stay alive, they don't have enough excess time or money to get fat with. Skinny and somewhat muscular is the way to go.
Homm 3... umm... what's with that color scheme?

Peasunts,ha ha!They're so dum and stupid!They don't do any damage,they don't have any health,they're slow and fat.They do PATHETHIC DAMAGE!!!And are the WORST creatures in Heroes5.Just think and you'll see how pathethic they are!Here's what I think.
