llearning map for new(and not so old) players

i made a map wich is meant as a helping tool for new players of heroes 3.it is mostly based on combat(has some combat tricks strapped to it) and it will also teach you a thing or two about chaining.

it is available for download here

There is a tutorial map by IronWill on WW site. If your map is a sequel to that map and you've got a lot of positive feedback on it, you may want to ask asure to post it there as well.

Only 9 years later, but ironwill's map was and still is my favorite map. Later saw Maretti yoube videos, then the twitch videos. I'm hipnotised by them, waisting hours to watch, but practice is where u learn from better then the videos.

I have to desagree.
You need pratice too or things like channing don't came easy but I've played the game for years and didn't got many of the tricks, for instance how important it is to spend tons of money buying heroes in the first days of the game or to use atraction to conduce five or six enemy armies to a single point and then berserk them.

Now, I agree that to spend hours watching others to play (wich I've been doing too) is a bit like watching a porno movie instead of having sex.

P.S. I tryed and didn't found the map at that location. Do u know where I can find it?

Even if i see his videos, i can't battle like he does or chain like he does, so i like watching the awsome things he shows there. My games dont have the setup he does, lol, i still wouldn't dare to make the break in jebus in week 2(for ex),or going in conservatory without mass slow or without at least 2 stacks of creatures that could kill a stack of grifins each. And i dont know where to find Tigris map either, i'll search into the Bitebandit arhive to see, maibe its there.

Thank u for the tip. Now that I knoe the name I can look for it in the Archives too.

I need at least three weeks to break on Jebus at 200% but they usually play at 160%. Why if they play better then us? To buy four heroes right away and suck the map dry in two days.
One thing Maretti does often is not to visit power ups with secondary heroes and yet don't hesitate to use them in early battles to open the way and rob banks, all this in the name of those precious days they get in advance. And have you notice how important these days are? If someone is late for two or three days the other immediatly extends his advantage to a point of no return.

I think u play mostly online, right? Cause what I've learned from watching the videos was enouch to beat computer at 200% in the same templates but not to make me a strong oponent in GameRanger...

i did noticed that even with his main he ignores power ups if they are  further then where he's planning to go. i love when all his scouts do something and when the time comes to chain, they'r right in position.
Have played some games on WCL site heroes-iii.com,but don't have time anymore for online.

Yeah!! I even asked him a question about if it was a rule against universityies cause he was to stepd away from one with a main with all six skills at expert, not bothering to look and see if it could find something good instead of having to choose between two random. And, I don't know if you are aware that magic schools came with an interval of four, but he shouldn't expect a magic school (he wanted air) next level up... I would say "this guys is a noob" if I didn't know better.
