D'oh! Moments
Use this thread to share about your D'oh! moments, when you've made embarrassing mistakes or bad moves that you went on to regret.

Back in 8th grade, I wrote thank you cards to two of my old teachers, one 5th grade and the other 7th grade. I worked very sloppily back then, and I must've put the wrong letters in the wrong envelopes. My 5th grade teacher wrote back to let me know I'd made that mistake, but my 7th grade teacher didn't reply. I was embarrassed, as expected.

I told you this one already. Halfway through my high school graduation ceremony, I had to play guitar for the class song. When I put the guitar strap over my head, I was unaware that my tassel came off and was lying on the left side of the stage. When we sat back down, a classmate sitting in the chair behind me told me that it was missing. I panicked, but I knew my tassel had to be where I left my guitar. So when I went up to perform my solo song, I put on the fallen tassel and explained to the audience what happened. I made everybody laugh, so at least this D'oh moment had a happy ending.

D'oh moments? well i cant remeber any d'oh moments....but there is a few i know of sort of....i'll get back to u about that. and nice oik, very funny

Indeed. I intended to put that up a long time ago, when the subject was still fresh, but I didn't have time to make the pic. This one was conceived and completed in about 10 minutes.

*Update*
I spent the last few minutes loading random maps in HOMM3 (on 200%), and most of them just weren't playable. The latest one just takes the cake:
~I start with an Inferno town and no Fort.
~There are no pre-built dwellings, and I have no gold or resources.
~My starting hero, Calh, has 5 Gogs.
~A single narrow path leads from my town, and it's blocked by Lots of Stone Gargoyles.
It's a d'oh moment, and quite an amusing one at that!

Just spent fifteen minutes looking for my phone. My first thought was calling it... I encountered some complications. My second was to call my brother, he seems to have a sixth sense about lost stuff. Encountered more complications. After turning my whole house... Room upside down I found it in my pocket... Now I'm going to bed!
