Heroes CCG Tournament in the Books!

Alrighty then, this past weekend, there was an official Heroes of Might & Magic CCG Tournament in Huntsville. I have the results from the Huntsville, AL. I was hoping to get some other results from some of the other ECs before posting, but by the end of the week I will post the first results on our webpage. Eventually, we would like to be able to have ECs log in to a page here (on Heroes Community) and edit their player standings and such, but we don't know how long that will take, and we have to get this season started. Incidentally, the overall winner was Anthony Mason. He lost his first game, but won his second game FAST in only 16 turns, giving him 7 for the win, and 14 for the time bonus, for a whopping 21 total tournament points! Second place went to Stan Sord with 7.5 points. He won his first game via tiebreaker points, and tied his second game - also by tiebreaker points (really wierd to tie, but he did!).

What alignment/combo did he play?

I think Nature might come out on top a the fastest alignment with tigers phase 2 and wolves phase 3 (plus leprchauns to boost them in round 2+).  So even if your hero bites it, your troops are still quick without Ring of Speed or Tactics.

Anthony played Life, Stan Sord played Nature.

Are either of them on the boards here?  It'd be cool to hear what they though worked and/or didn't work for them.

Stan is a very busy guy, but I will get Anthony to log on and discuss decks.

Speaking of decks, was that doc who sold that Death/Order auction on Ebay? And why the heck would someone do that anyways?
