Well my username represents my favourite creature in all of the heroes series.
So it means a lot to me. I don't think i'll change it.
I have a custom Avatar in the waiting, so exactly how do you get it onto Heroes Community as your avatar?

...here we go...
...my nickname is actually a two part nickname...
1. "Ash" is almost (?!?) the name of the second Crow (The city of angels), his name was Ashe and since we kinda looked alike (I have much longer hair and a goatie) and the same clothes I thought I could borrow his name..
As a word "ash" has another meaning besides the english one, for the Orcs of Tolkien's Middle Earth it means "one" as in "Ash nasg durbatulūk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nasg thrakatulūk agh bruzum-ishi Krimpatul" (it's the well-known "One Ring to rule them all..." lyrics)
2. "NIR" has a history of it's own.. back in highschool they called me "The Bat". Since I was an active arcade player back then I needed a three-letter signature for the highscore entry... a friend came up with "Nocturnus Imperius Rex" wich is almost true as I live most of my life during night time and a long time vampire fan (it got even worse after playing "Vampire: The Maquerade - Redemption")

hmmm...
...no need to be so official ThE_HyDrA (here i go ), simply targon is fine with me
...you“re going to put an actual hydra or chaos hydra; or some who-knows-from-where hydra?
...it might look good; i don“t think i“ve seen any of the actual game creatures“ avatars (not the custom ones) here, which is somewhat surprising when you come to think of it...

A couple of years ago I so a comedy, I don't remember it's name, but there was a character there, a scum that keep insisted that his name was Muerte and was being always tricked and ridiculed by the others.
Back then, me and some friends were playing alot of quake3, and since we were so desastruous at that game we adopted the Muerte name.
There are lots of muertes in TOH now, but only me, uBu and Bullgogu are 'the originals', the others are actually members of a gamers clan called KOF.

The name game.
Back in the days of Heroes 1 & 2 the Barbarian was a good choice to play with. That has changed now of course.
My real name is Craig Hawkins so naturally it was easy to play as CraigHack, its almost the same.

And curse you, Still this was one of my post ideas, just as soon as I got my lazy ass to posting somthing!! No jk its all good u saved me some time and effort. my real name's not malkia - but that's my real life nickname - it means "little one"... - actually when i've
started my new job - i've said to the people to call me
malkia - and there was a chance of getting my documents
wrong (especially the ones for H1B visa... uh-uh-uh)...
my real name is Dimitar (or Dimitry in russian) - it's a greek name cames from the godess of Demetra (strange - but we have orthodox saint called Dimitar (Sveti Dimitar) with name of godess from polytheistic religion).
Ash-NIR may know more about the name, cause he's from Greece - and hello neighbour  ...

simple
for me ironmlh. My name goes way back to high school when my friends woould call me iron mike. I just added to it a little bit and made it ironmlh. MLH of course is my initials. Plus this one is somewhat unique and it works for all my sign in names everywhere, since no one else has it.

ironmlh thanks for explaining your name cuz i had always been confused of what it meant, my name is a nick name that one of my close friends gave me, he pretends to be mexican and its hilarious, he said he calls me this because awhile before i joined this community, in school i was sitting with a couple friends, him being one of them, and then some kid walked up and punched me in the face, I had not liked this kid for quite a while, and when he punched me, I stood up slowly, looked him in the eye, laughed for a second, then i quickly grabbed him by the neck with one hand and squeezed and I would not let go, 6 people had to pry me off of him, and my friend calls me El Diablo cuz he trys to be mexican (lol) and because the look I had in my eye while I was choking him made my friend think I was evil, I got expelled after that

Well, since you asked....
Go to any large Society for Creative Anachronism event in the Pacific Northwest, and I'm likely to be there. I'm also likely to have any number of my SCA 'extended family' about, and most of them call me "Uncle" or even "Grandpa" Haakon. A large number of the ones who use "Uncle" slide it over to "Unka Haakon".
besides, I didn't feel like I should register as "Hey You Grumpy Half-crippled Twisted Sneaky Old <Expletive Deleted>", or "You Complete and Utter Rat B*stard!" which is how some of my other friends address me at such events.
