good memories

TSR 80... then Commodore, then some 286 with tape cartridge drive, I remember writing programs for hours just to make a line wiggle across the screen. Sorta made me hate programming though so, not like a fond memory there, especially one time I forgot to put the " mark in front of on string and there were no code checkers back then, it took me 2 days to read thru everything and find that error.

The 386 was the real first PC though, the 286 wasn't that much more advanced than what was before it. I think I had 800 baud modem first, but upgraded to 14.4 soon as it came out.

Now... 1.1 gig, 516 dram, 64 geforce2 pro, asus A7-V board 80 gig hd, etc... So much better! =)

yeah, and inspite of all the development, there has never been made a better game than Spy versus Spy (C64). But HoMM is coming close

going offtopic, but better than nothing

Rick Dangerous.. some sort of Jump 'n Run, if I remember it right. Not my cup of tea, tho.

Other games I liked on C64: Archon, Impossible Mission I & II, Zak McKracken, They $tole a Million, Emlyn Hughes Soccer

*sigh*
