Alc, I don't like the idea of 8734264 "The way of the..." threads, but I'll reaply in this one.
I think that H2 golem is really looks like golems suppose to look like-A man with metal skin. that's it.
H3 golem just looks like a cream men.
The egyptian golems of H3 and H4 look great, and I like the concept.
H5 is very nice one, too. Even he is very very far from how golem should look like, and it's not just about the swords...

As a Golem-fan I wanted to write something here too.
Yeah I like the Golems the best although there were worse Golems in the previous Heroes parts.
I liked for example in HOMM II the squeakind sound of the Steel Golem. They were extremly slow.
I miss the Gold Golem very much. I think they were in HOMM IV the best. Hopefully we will see them in one of the expansions again.
Anyway a Golem could be a good boxer. (remember of the attacks of the Golems in HOMM II, III and IV...

I voted for the HOMM2 Golems, because I also remember when I first played HOMM in1996, and I thought that these units looked awesome, and they still do, I think they look the best out of all of them, cos as the golems are made in the new ones (homm3, homm4, and homm5) they look less like Golems and look more like something else.
Anyway, that is just my opinion

The golems were always tooooooooooooo slow. But now I like them-since Heroes 5 "arrived".They have magic resistance and are a faster than their "cousins" in Heroes 2-4.What do you say?
