Little blue bar?
Sorry, this a tiny little noob question -- anyone know what the little blue bar next to the hero portrait on the adventure screen represents in HOMM3? I thought it would be mana, but that doesnt seem to fit. Some of my heros have a little plus sign (+) in the bar, most do not. Any clues? Thanks!

The bar on the left is the hero's movement and the bar on the right is the hero's mana. The fuller the bars are, the more movement/mana they have. If the hero has more stuff than the bar has room to indicate, plus symbols are used. A hero with three pluses will move farther than a hero with one plus. When your hero moves, for example, the pluses will disappear one by one and after that the bar will go down until you run out of movement. I hope you can understand this explanation.

Im quite sure its the Spell Points of the hero.
The green is definitely the movement bar. The + means there is more than the bar can usually show.
Cast some lvl5 spells and see if it goes down  thatll tell u if it is sp or not.
