RoE Map Finally Complete

A long time ago I made a homm3 map called Forts Come First, and it's in the toh map section. However I felt that there were some things in it that were stupid and unnecessary.

I've redone the map and I feel it's finally complete. I've spent a long time working on this map contemplating how to apply its unique style.

The key elements are simple.

1.) All towns start with three upgraded creature dwellings and no fort. This includes the starting towns. Weekly events give extra creatures to recruit in order to boost the beginning game forces.

2.) There are 9 additional towns on the map that you can capture, 2 above ground and 7 below ground.

3.) Ore Mines and Sawmills are placed strategically over the map. In total there are 8 of each, 4 above ground, 4 below ground.

I feel that this will make for a game that is never the same. That is the complaint I have always heard about fixed maps.

However I think that this can be fixed in two ways. The first is making an open or semi-open map instead of a closed map. The second is that often times open maps or semi-open maps don't have enough important landmarks to make the game different. Often times with maps like Battle For Honor, you are basically going after the two major artifacts and getting to visit the library of enlightenment before your opponent does. The games are often times very similar, because there are so few viable strategies.

I think that the key element in the design of this map is to give numerous different options. I hope that this makes the map an enjoyable multiplayer map, however I'm wondering if anyone would like to play test it, so I can get some feedback.
