AFAIK the Waspwort is a carnivorous... thing, plant, or whatever, which houses Wasps, and controls them. The Waspwort is also capable of moving (like a treant or something).

A truly great and original town.
I like the town description - I can really picture the area.
On summoning - isn't there a magic realm with this name already? Perhaps "convocation" would be better (thanks whoever coined that one)? I think this part, interesting as it is, could be a little unbalanced if not handled correctly - but we'll let Nival sort that out, if you win.
A really detailed history combining minor events with major.
Level 1: I'd hate this for one reason - I can't stand spiders. Any comment I'd make here would be biased! Maybe a gnome or goblin instead?
Level 2:
Level 3: I must admit I've never been a fan of plants in Heroes as units, since I'm a mythology person as opposed to a fantasy person.
Level 4: Of course. It just wouldn't be right without them.
Level 5: Great idea, although it would perhaps be weird to see a hyena doing so much damage? Perhaps allow both levels to be either hyena or not, assigning appropriate advantages to either state.
Level 6:
Level 7: That picture shorter with legs would be great - the only problem I can see is how they'd realistically `fit` it onto the battlefield - maybe moving stretched out, but coiling up when stationary?

Thanks so much for the comments guys. I was thinking of ditching the spider, will have to think of something to replace it with.
Will take your advice on the shapeshifter.
The summoning will stay - like your name change. It does give the hero power but so does necromancy and ressurection.
I still have a lot of work to do, and so little time!!
I am looking foward to reading your text, right about ...now.

I like every creature except the the cyclop, I don't see them there. They are not real nature in the mountains.
(maybe because of heroes III that I became hating them.)

Yeah the dragon like is okay.. Just wondering why water elementals? And not an earth elemental or air since it are mountains and stuff? Just asking though.
And damn, can't think of any other indirect unit instead of the cyclops.

How about a huge mountain crawler (thousand leg thingy) what spits acid around and can devour things.

Now that I see, your probable final version of "The Cavern", I must say that I am impressed.I didn't watched the development of this town for a while and I must say that it is good, very good.
Other than this little praise  I have only one advice to you about Lerista.Maybe I can help you with picture of Lerista.No no I don't know to draw good enough, but I thougth that you should check out one creature of Age of Wonders II.It is called Wyrm and IMHO I imagine Lerista pretty simililar to it, except that Lerista isn't made of water.

Thanks Heaps all of you for taking the time to look at this town and offer suggestions.
The land is really a desert rather than a mountain, with the witches living in the caverns that are few and far between. The cyclopses are an important part of the history, as they are misunderstood friends of the witches - so they must stay
They worship the water dragon because water is such a precious resource in the desert, it is our key to life.
I hope this helps explain what I am thinking.
Thanks Rldragon for the tip (Wyrm), I will continue to look for a suitable pic.

first off, nice town. i like the idea of a shapeshifter
now may i suggest that u name the special ability "lycanthropy" which is the transformation of humans into animals???
and also i think that u should change around the lvl 2 unit. make it bindii --> thorned avenger, cause bindii sounds weak, and thorned avenger sounds powerful

-why dont use "seeker puma" instead of puma seeker.Its sounds like some creature searching for pumas.
-Nomad Lords is a bad name perhaps ýt should be changed to camel rider or the othentic name for those people "Bedevi"(if ý remember correctly)
-And why does the shapeshifter shifts into a hyena,ý think they are savanna related creatures mostly.Perhaps a desert fox or a wolf(associated with caves) would be better.But still there is not much time left,the last decision is yours anyway.
-Without a picture or drawing Its hard to imagine what a Lerista is like.
