Well it's still the same creature but as a lvl 6 unit.
The hydra has been downgraded as well to lvl 5 so why not the phoenix, knowing that it's still the same but with some stat changes.

I updated the wisp and bulls abilities. I think the bull was a bit overpowered for a lvl 2 unit (specially after i read the updated creatures abilities form the beta).

Don't like that lvl 6 creature to be a pheonix because it already was in H3 as a lvl7 creature ! Your creatures are really original they are alll based on fire as your logo ! Nice ! Well because your picture are missing is pretty captivating to imagine how the creatures look like ! Good luck!

I think the concept of using two elements instead of one made the town a lot more interesting. Do the apprentices learn any more spells when they become mystic?

P.S. I'm not The Nordic King, we just have the same avatar.

Nope they don't, it would make them more powerful than the usual spellcaster types. I tried to make the town balanced but I'm still not sure if it worked out.

I wanted to remove the phoenix but lacked the time to create another unit !!

NarMai
Race( 5+5 )=10
History( 4+5)=10
Creatures( 4+4)=8 red bull and shapeshifter don’t really fit, plus phoenix is repeat
Balance( 4+ 5)=9
Originality=9

This is my fave by the way
I’ll be sad if you beat me

Total Score=46

How I graded these:
Race (Originality [1-5]+Compatibility with HOMM5 universe[1-5])
History (How interesting is it to me [1-5] +Compatibility with HOMM5 universe [1-5])
Creatures (Originality [1-5] +Internal Consistency [1-5])
Balance  (are the special skills inventive [1-5] + Does it have a variety of flyers, shooters, walkers, spell-casters [1-5]
Originality (all the originality scores added up and divided by two.  This means that creativity counts twice. [1-10])

Balance is perfect?I doubt that

Race:7
History:7(not bad but ý think this castle has too much effect on the main history
Creatures:7(being phoenix 6th level does not work with the current situation.Last level being humanoid warrior does not go well)
Balance:5(ý think you have serious problems with that energy shield and water prison, last levels %25 chance to evade an attack and chance to freeze are too much, some creatures are overpowered or too much multi use).
Originality:7

33/50

Race: 8

Very good, a working concept and a well defined identity.

History: 7

Decent history.

Creatures: 8

Good choice of creatures, faithful to the faction's essence.

Balance: 5

The NarMai are overpowered. The Water Prison ability brings a great strategical advatage. The phoenix's rebirth approach is original, but makes room for unfair tactics (suppose you're left with a fast stack and your enemy is left with a slow one. you could avoid combat and stall, in order to have a higher percentage of phoenixes reborn), 30% is a pretty high percentage for the Red Bull's ability (the first 3 turns often decide the result of a battle)

Originality: 8

Some creatures are slightly unoriginal, but the Siren of Fire and Red Bull earn some good points (although if I were Ubi, I'd rename teh latter to avoid a monstrous copyright lawsuit

PENALTY: -1 for not having a hero

TOTAL: 35

The contrasting elements idea is good - hence me using it in my own submission. You had the option to make the creatures either very 'heroes-ish' or not - you seem roughly in the middle, but probably closer to non-heroes. For me, how well a faction would fit in-game is important. I also like your take on the Phoenix rebirth ability.

Race: 7 (The fact they chose the mid term between order and chaos is good, but to choose fire/water to represent that? Both are symbols of chaos, as much as they represents oposites, they don't fit to represent THESE oposites)
History: 6 (Very good history representing them, but you made clear that they always take balance, but in that history they just intervene between Haven and Inferno, there is 4 other factions as well, and they looked just too good, controlling EVERYONE at their will.)
Creatures: 9 (Best point of your town, all creatures are pretty good by themselves, but...)
Balance: 3 (...there is just too much umbalance. You may have put low percentage on the abilities, but still. All creatures are just too much versatile or too good at their role. And this town have no problems with creatures whose advantage is elemental afinity, since it can choose to use fire or ice in all cases. The worse actually is the balance with the world, since this faction seems to have manipulated ALL happenings in it)
Originality: 8 (Very original town neverthless)

Race: 6.5 (All right race, but not enough to suggest this is a contest winner).
Creature: 10! (You see? these creature ideas are what I call prefection)!
History: 6.5 (Not so bright)
Balance: 1.5 (You are hypnotised by the thought of owning people's ar*es. It's dragging you down man!)
Originality: 7.5 (How the hell am I supposed to judge this? there is no such thing as originality in this town because it is completely fresh.)

Total, 32. Fair effort.

Race: 7 (The idea of a secret order large enough to have their own towns, kingdoms and armies is a little impropable... The philosophy of balance is nice, and the theme is consistent throughout this entry. But is water necessarily tied to order and fire tied to chaos...?)

History: 8 (Blends in nicely with H5 timeline. Exciting!)

Creatures: 9 (This score does not reflect the balancing of the creatures, but instead reflect the description and ideas of the line-up: Purifying light ability is interesting. I love the doppelgangers, but their shapeshift ability seem overpowered. In general nicely flavored units with interesting abilities. The water / fire idea is implemented in a fine and consistent way.)

Balance: 6 (Many great ideas, but need more work to be balanced. I won´t punish you to much here because a lot of this is a question of just turning down some percentages. On the variety level this army only has one shooter, but the watershift ability partly makes up for this. The balance of water (defence) and fire (attack) oriented creatures are really nice.)

Originality 10 (A great idea consistently implemented is what makes me happy )

Overall: 40

Comments: Even though the race is of the human form, this doesn’t detract too much from the overall history as the creatures and events described are fitting and not solely focused on humans. The history is quite captivating, though the theory of the NarMaï acting like mediators for all the other races probably wouldn’t work in reality if they suddenly decide to help one side (the Dragon Hunt). Elemental boost ability would work wonders against neutral stacks, and the Eaphin seems grossly overpowered with all of its abilities (Water Prison, Water Shift, Water Elemental). I like the detailed descriptions of the abilities, and they are original ideas – some of them merely need to be tuned down. The cohesiveness of the town is commendable, and the great mixture of creatures suit the race. I would have also liked to have seen them focus on Earth and Air, also. A great effort to attempt to involve them in the world of Ashan.
