That's not true.. at all.. it doesn't mean i don't agree with what i said... it's just i have to not write those things down... i have to keep them inside, for sure i have lots of other players with whom to enjoy this game.. no need to play him or other players that write down all the time they think they have a point...(usually a bad point)... that's all.

Then all of a sudden it's come kill me in town? which i could have, but thats not the point.

Well it is trully fun to watch the world famos Ph.d's Manu and Ted, explaining the primitive mentalities of the peoples from countries surrounding the Black Sea.
It is trully fun to see a zone toss,appear here in HC.What was your point here Manuel?
As i said ealier, it is a fine line between playing your chances wisely and playing them folishly.Cos said "i play every game to win".This makes him a competitive player.Personally i play every game to learn, because i know i do have alot to learn, but since i am aware of my position i don't really care if i win or loose, as long as i learn something.But, in order to reach thaat top, the +1900 toh i really think u have to have a competitive attitude.Ask any emperor, Maretti,TC, everyone, ask them: Do you get into a game to loose?
Or do you get into a game to prove your position?
Once you get on the top, everybody wants a piece of you, so you need to do your best to stay on top.(keep on winning).Yes there is a fine line between achieving that goal by honorable means and by reaching it by being a cheating foo.
What i really disliked in your conversation guys was the insults both towards Cosmin and towards romanian players in general.Both you guys are veterans to the zone and to the game of heroes and u have seen many players come and go to the zone.Maybe some of them gave you the right to have this opinion, but you ahave absolutely no right to judge a person based by the place he was born in.
Second, you made a fool out yourselves in this post, with that cheap "i do everything to win " toss.
That was not the way it was meant and if anyone will read this carefully he will notice it right away.
No one starts a game thinking he wants to lose.Some start it thinking they will learn somethink, some start it thinking they will have lots of fun, some just want a good challange, a good game and finally some start it with their minds set on winning.Now, every player has his own motivation in a game and as long as this motivation doesn't drive them to do something un honorable or lame i say im ok with it.Further more i really admire a person who plays every game like it's a might masters finals game for exemple.Because i often hear: well it's just a fun game anyways so *** it!
The fact is, players who try to play at their best in every game are to be admired and learned from not mocked.

I dont apreciate how he talked to me or my friends on here.
I dont like people bragging about how they are the best heroes player in the world & putting down others about how they are no challenge & his typical I am better then you emperor attitude orless your an emperor yourself..
What I dont get is i was on his side.
I sided on him with obiwan & he comes in here talking to me like I am some idiot.
It has nothing to do with what he did with Ted or Obiwan.
I dont like his attitude towards me & other players like he is the best heroes player in the world.

actually, there is more to castle sitting than just "castle sitting". waiting a few days in town is not lame at all... waiting for enemy to attack is lame however, cause that will just end the game at a later stage with the one outside castle as winner. if you think you got a chance to gain an advantage by sitting in town waiting, to be able to attack outside and win after some time, castle sitting is not lame imo. Be it 5 days or 2 weeks.
Actually, this is not IMO, its common sense

I agree with this post. And remember, if he's romanian - his native language isn't english - clearly seen in the chat that was posted. Playing to win != abusing to win -> big difference.
I don't ever want to play the guy that says "it's just a game" if you win and don't even want to learn something new from a game if you spoon-fed him information.

Btw, since I'm a h4 player, I might have misunderstood something about the game between splexx and cos. He sat in the town to buy army right? Perhaps he wanted to upgrade some unit, buy another week of army, or whatever, for the freakin FUN of it. He wasn't happy with his end fight army, so how can that end fight be FUN then? You do realize that the "win for all costs" could apply to BOTH of you right? Why is splexx on his opponent's side before the other guy is ready? I thought he wanted a "big freakin end fight no matter the outcome cause we play for fun fun fun" type of game ? So why do you not wait for him in the "middle" or whatever? Let him build his hero + army as much as he'd like, cause you're playing for the freakin fun of it.. right? And where's the fun in RUSHING your opponent before he is ready? (If he wants more army, then give him the time, if you are both equal you will get the same army increase) He clearly wasn't ready, or he'd be on YOUR side of the map.. right? Yes, I'm rambling here, but what I'm trying to say is.. you're not playing just for the "fun" of it. Think about it, it's the oldest freakin excuse- playing for the fun of it, no matter the cost. And, rofl, the second oldest excuse was also used - being "drunk" while playing. Rofl. (yes, I have been drunk while playing, but if you are playing for FUN, then you don't have to bring that part up-> cause it will ruin the FUN for the other guy. So if you're the FUN type of guy -> keep it to yourself)

To manuel/aculias/hairy guy: Remember that time when you came to gamespy and talked with certain h4'ers? You were very quick to judge, not knowing the least thing about us. You feel insulted way too fast, and somehow I got the feeling (back then atleast) that "being cool" gets in the way of "being able to judge people correctly". First impressions and Coolness factor might possibly be used in real life, but take it just a tiny bit slower on the internet.. pretty please sweet Manuel
P.S: I'm sure you've grown since then Aculias, but you appear to be quite "emotional" (nothing bad about that), so please remember that even bad "rumors" will stick to a person for a very long time in this community, fair or unfair. Take a step back and "cool" down
Long post as always. I'm sure Splexx is a fine and honorable player, but that doesn't mean Cos isn't. I'm not taking any side, and I'm not trying to offend anyone either. Playing for fun is surely allowed, and I respect that. Playing to win (which is just as much fun, if not more - for those who succeed ) must be respected aswell! (but abuse/cheat and you will piss me off for sure)
At last, I would like to mention a few players that have found the middle ground => play for fun AND to win (in h4) : king karim, zud, insatiable and valkyrica - play these and you're in for a quality game (although the insa aka the greek might make you wish you didn't - his mad/genious mind might affect you)
Btw, I was "drunk" when I wrote the post (no alcohol or any other substance ofcourse), it's probably filled with typos
I'm emotional aswell, so the post is flavored with temperament (keywords: rage and bloodlust, with ice in the middle)

First & Shockingly I am amazed Angelito didnt get on my case & glad lol.
second of course it became fun at the end, I mean it couldnt be heated forever.

Wasn't this thread call new beginning?
With all this blablabla and petty arguments about the game.. lets get back to the topic of a new beginning.
Good to see some of the older players might return. Used to have lots of fun playing heroes.. then I went through my "growing up" phase.. finish college, get a new job, etc... so now is a good time if any to play again
I noticed a lot of people downloaded the beta.. gives the heroes community hope. If the game sells well then Im sure Ubisoft and them will put more effort into patches, etc. Since I remember H3 had tons of bugs but 3do patched it enough to get rid of MOST of the bad glitches

Hehe, I've been dormant for a couple of days and look what this thread turned into. 
I was going to talk down Heroes 5, but now I find myself talking about a subject I actually
like more: HONOR.
I think all this started from Valkyrica's statement about "romunians" when TC_Fear asked for
a crack code. He's Lithuanian, not that a wealthy country, but not as poor as Romania
whatsoever. So regarding this aspect, I have to admit I can't afford buying PC games with the
150 Euro I get paid monthly. If I was living in Canada, though, I'm 100% I could and would
buy ALL my games. Anyways...
I personally have a Hungarian nationality, but a Romanian citizenship, I was born here and
feel a Romanian myself, don't even know the Hungarian national anthem. And never am on
Hungarian's side when they play against Romanian teams and stuff. That being said, I confess I have a
hard time living in this country. But that doesn't mean I can't find many honest and really nice
people around here. And of course I would like Romania be at least as developed as Canada.
About the will to win, to thrive for victory and success in whatever you do is the
highest valued quality for me. I always loved people like Pete Sampras, Michael Jordan,
Michael Schumacher, Miguel Indurain, Lance Armstrong and others (not all popular and likeable, as you well know), who took things seriously instead of
twinkling a bit with the talent they had and falling down like a leaf and never be heared of
them again. On the other hand, there are always more reasons then one to do something, as
Tigris so very well pointed out: of course we desire to win, but if we arn't able to achieve it, at least we
learn something and improve ourselves. If we get mad sometimes for feeling cheated on or
mistreated is not as bad as being the cheater ourselves. I also take bad any loss in my heart and
curse myself and my poor luck (when the case), but will shake the hand of my winner or take
my hat off him if he earned his win. The one thing I always do is trying my best to win and playing with honor at the same time.
A few things about differences in point of view regarding this game: I also sat in town several games (once against Frank) before finding out that is considered dishonourable, but never afterwards (only if needed mana or something). I agree to wait more than 1 turn in castle is not nice, but if you break in Jebus (for example) and take a castle in center then stay there either for mana or for skill (Valhalla or something) I don't think is unhonourable. Then I was also waited in town even more times and had my catapult destroyed once or twice, but always thought: "well, these are game tactics, why feel bad about them?").
Yes, Cpcos is more eagre to win than others, but in my eyes that's a quality as long as he plays fair. He proved me several times he's the best Jebus player I have ever played against and I am grateful for his lessons and tips.
I can't talk in other's name and don't want to be on anybody/anything else's side but truth.
I apologize for the lenght of it and being maybe a bit too personal. And also repeating in other words what Arangar said (I wrote this before doing all the reading, and Arangar is so damn right in pointing out the most fun is having a win). I just made a heated reply which I deleted really quick,but i dont want to get on your bad side I dont even really know you but a little JB.
I am not trying to joke on here like I said.
Comis CPCOS did some stuff i didnt like.
The way he talked to me & what he said & did with my friends & bragging about being the best.
Maybe I didnt have the best solution on here but I dont think I was wrong either.
If were both here playing heroes 5 i dont want any bad vibes with us i know you been here for so long & retired long before i came here.
Made some great maps i had a pleasure of playing.
Maybe you dont like me on here i have no idea.
Many vets tend to only stick with players who played in season 1-2 bt it dont mean we have to become rivals because of it.
