Armageddon's Blade crashes
Hi All,
I'm playing the subj and after defeating an enemy who has some artifact instead seeing the artifact screen i only hear a ding and game crashes with an error message.
Could somebody please explain me, what is the reason of that spike?
I have WinXP SP2, executable version is 2.0 and running game via Virtual CD.

You need to upgrade your version to 2.2
Here is the patch u need.

Can we have Armageddon's Blade and Shadow of Death in one game? I want to play Homm3 with full Alliance and Combination artifacts.

Shadow of Death has everything what Armageddons Blade has....except the random map generator.

angelito, thank you so much for help but the problem stays on. I've downloaded and ran your patch in the game directory. It did somth., but in file properties I see version 2.0.0.0 yet. Maybe you were mistaken with the patch version? Could you please check this out? Thanks!

The patch is correct. Problem could be, u have a copied version. In that case, the patch works fine and updates all your files BUT the exe file.

Buy Heroes Complete instead of Armageddons Blade. That way, u have ALL heroes versions in one, version 4.0, the best u can have.

No! Shadow of Death doesn't have Conflux town. It only has Conflux creatures. And of Course, Shadow of Death doesn't have Armageddon Blade map.
So? Can we combine them?

Did u play the campaigns of Shadow of death?
One of the first is the campaign with Gelu....if u donīt find any conflux towns in the first maps, u really have a corrupted version then...

No, I mean in single player or multiplayer. we can't play using Conflux. I prefer playing single or multiplayer than campaign coz campaign can't choose what town we will use.

You can chose Conflux town if the map gives the choice. You prolly only play RoE maps with SoD.
But if u look here, u can see how u can activate the random generator with Shadow of death (RoE must be installed aswell though!). That way, u can play all AB maps, and have Conflux choice in all kind of maps.

Now I have my heroes working. My friend gave me a licensed disk that he bought in U.S. for $85 (Arm. Blade).
