It works ofc. But it would be very handy to have pinned threads for information. To look into the tactic thread at the top will require you to read more than 80 pages just to find info about one small tactic.

anyone know what the words i pinpointed here mean? i thought the boots of polarity were only for magic resistance?

That's for wog only. There is a script that changes adds some events to some artifacts in the begining of as week, in the case of the Boots of Polarity you again a lot of movement for that day but the script removes them.

And as far as I know, the tavern messages are replaced in SoD game too, so you can get some funny situations. I don't know if it happens with ERA as well though

I have put together a paper concerning all advanced tactics vs AI (behavior, elemental siege, fire wall, berserk,etc), which is downloadable on my site ->The Tactitian

Do however note, that I don't claim to be the sole author of the thing whatsoever.It is only meant for means of information gathering and sharing.

number of random creatures

I used to be able to right-click creatures in the editor and see the range of 1st week creature numbers when they are left "random".
(alas - haven't been able to for years)

Does anone know/have these stats?

They are in CrTraits file somewhere in Data folder in one of archives. Last two columns with numbers are lower and upper bound for range I think.

Does anyone has an idea how does AI make his building plans for the week? I have a map where I have several events giving AI more money and resources progressively, it starts with 1000 day 1 repeting everyday, then day 8 I add another 1000, day 29 2000, etc...
What I'm felling from playing is that since AI can't predict these events, it decides his building/hiring order counting on just the initial 31000 and doesn't change it despise having more and more money and resources. In this case, I'm considering I should give a one time bonus day one and reduce the rest in a way they end the week with the same revenue but have it from start.
But this is just an impression, I have no idea how AI really processes this. Please teach me this if you know how it works?

I suggest adding AI buildings by timed event, so you can diminish randomness.

Useful trick sometimes: Let AI capture your castle and upgrade, take it back next day.

What I sometimes do (when I have visions) is to wait for him to build capitol and take the town the next day, saving 10000 bucks but that's a good idea, I'm already doing it with the tavern but maybe is a good idea do it with all the rest.

Hi i have a question and if would be amazing if u can give me answer,tonight i played HOMM3 against my friend and situation is next,Adela against Luna,he is on the move he have just a few archers left and i have a few left i am killing his last soldiers but just before my move he made earth element,i am killiing his last units but with his earth element he is kiliing my last units,after the battle,both heroes r gone,i can by Adela with all artifact in the Castle but he cant by Luna any more even do he won the battle,whats the answer for this akward situation,can you help us with explanation,thanks a lot guys!

In this game also summons have to be killed to be victorious.

When your friend beat you with the summons he is victorious, but alas, his hero has no troops left and therefore will also abandon the cause If you would flee though, his hero would become a ghost hero for some reason, a hero without troops but still able to walk (pretty far actualy).

I believe the option to rebuy heroes in tavern is something random, next time flee from the battlefield if you want to keep your hero

Very interesting.  How much of a boost, if any, does being, er, soldierless, give to a hero's movement ability?
