Bookmakers and their black deals got into Heroes 3...
I have this really weird problem with my high score. Well among many high-score problems this one is the worst. No matter how fast I beat AI in a single player game, no matter how powerful I am, no matter what tactics I use and no matter which difficulty I play, the result is always 176 (beholder). I don't know what happened, I ahven't been messing with data files recently, though I have been using setupreg.exe to improve my multi player gaming. Also, I use cranim.txt, but I think that nobody really cares about that.
Somebody has been fixing matches around here...

About your problem being awarded the Beholder ranking all the time, I can't think of anything helpful. As for high scores in general, I think H3's method of scoring is slightly different from H2's. I read some thread on the subject a while ago and apparently there are more aspects to scoring in H3 than just the timing and difficulty. I remember something about getting higher scores by capturing all towns, but my memory's pretty foggy.
