Death Knights are overpowered, but how do you want to get them anyways? You have to be very lucky that they want to join you.
So it's just a very nasty neutral to fight against if it's a big amount of creatures.

As it was said before - you have to think twice before attacking Death Knights. They do deserve their name indeed.
As it was written before you do have to kill them fast if you don’t want your day to be ruined. And if you have to take retaliation strike from them – use your smallest/worst stack. In fact good player should attack almost any neutral stack without taking any looses so fighting the Death Knights is the same just a little more risky
And as far as I know there are almost no chances to get those creatures into your army. Maybe leadership could help you out but just imagine the price…
Talking about neutrals in general it would be nice to fight against neutrals with at least two really different units in their armies. For example: some major artifact guarded by shadow matriarchs + deep hydras combo. Just don’t know how should they be pictured traveling on the map…

Agreed something I do like about 4. I'd like to be able to fight mixes of neutrals, it would just make the game better in general.

But the death knights have low initiative and low speed. It takes them at least two turns to cross the field more if there are obstacles.
It is possible to get death knights in your army but usually in insignificant numbers so that they will probably be dead before you can half an enemy unit.

The expansion pack comes with 3 new neutral creatures:wolf,manticore,mummy and snow ape,alongside with the renegades.

Let's see now... wolf + manticore + mummy + snow ape = 3 new neutrals DAMN!!! I haven't practiced math more than I thought, I was sure the answer is 4 
Oh and the wolf's abilities - howl and pack hunter, may turn him into one of the nastiest mine guards in the game (after druids of course)

My very personal wish...
...is that Nival will remove one of the dwarf units in the dwarven faction and put the wolves there as a low-level unit.

Animals can be used in battles either as mounts or as an independent attacking unit.
Dwarves may be small, but they are much heavier then goblins and like to wear heavy armor so there is no way in hell a wolf could carry a dwarf.
I guess that wolves can be an independent attack force like the hell hounds, but there should be a good explanation for them being with the dwarves because I'm having a hard time picturing them together.

An explanation as good as any should be that large packs of wolves were tamed centuries ago. I mean, come on... Th dwarves tamed bears, why shouldn't they tame wolves too?

Yeah I know it sounds ok, but somehow bears look good with dwarves, probably because they're both look slow and heavy, and for some reason wolves with dwarves look strange to me... I don't know, maybe it's because in homm wolves are usually associated with the goblinoids.

well they have 2 creatures back in the game that go really well with the barbarians wolf and snow apes.the snow ape will probably look just like the bemoth of old.as for the wolfves they were always barabarian unit.so lets just see if this expansion will hint at the release of a second expansion with the grand return of the barbarians.
