May I ask why you don't want to upgrade? Is it a matter of saving gold/ressources, and in that case, do you think that unupgraded hounds contribute more to your creeping than upgraded succubi?

You only need creatures for gating while creeping (excluding shooters/casters), there's no need to upgrade them. Keep your 4 full stacks in the corner and the rest 3 are ~3imps so you have 7 gated stacks + those 3 imps to block/steal retalations. Very effective with Mark of the Damned, Ballista is a nice addon but I rarely use it for some reason

But you can do the exact same thing with upgraded creatures. Having Seducers and no hounds, instead of unugraded succubi and hounds, is much better imo. It will help you alot vs. shooters and casters, which is where the real trouble lies. Slow walkers are eaasy to beat, no matter which of the two game plans you follow...

No one has yet answered me if they seriously consider unupgraded hounds a better addition to your army than having seducers instead of succubi...

If you can afford upgrading them and still have capitol, devils, castle in week 2, by all means, do it.

I don't know, maube it's just a matter of playstyle. Unupgraded hounds rarely do anything for me. I'll have to figure out what suits me best. By trial and error I guess.

Unupgraded dogs don't have no retaliation but they can still pack a good punch. Seducers are next to useless since most of shooters/casters act before them.

But even if the shooters/casters act before your seducers, it is possible to completely disable a stack for the rest of the fight. The disabled stack of casters/shooters will even fight for you. You cannot do anything similar with hounds or unupgraded succubi. None af them are able to disable a stack in one turn, unless the stack is so small, that it was no real threat to begin with...

Seducers make creeping much, much easier, and will allow you to take on much tougher opponents.

I disagree. Plus if shooters act before you, you'll loose seducers, and i don't like it. I rarely lose in creeping more than some imps and some demons.

Which part do you disagree with? That seducers can disable a stack, or that hounds cannot do the same?

I often find that the enemy targets my imps before sedudcers, and I rarely lose any when creeping.

With this part i disagree. I'm not saying that they are useless in creeping, they aren't. I'm just saying that mistresses are overall more useful. Maybe it's a matter of playing style too.

Guess so. Or skill. Maybe seducers are just easier to use, and I suck. I don't know

Just upgrade when needed, using excessive force is a lost of gold + cost of upg building - that's all. If it's justified by defeating a big stack guarding a juicy reword - i'd do it : ) i some what like mistresses better thou.. still it isn't unheard of to have both - if it'll help in the battle - why not?

both, it depends - still if you insist on an answer - attack, because it takes a bigger role during 'creeping'

Attack for its perks mostly. Since the faction is offense oriented anything that boosts its offensive capabilities is good to have. Defense I value less than most other inferno skills as dark, enlightenment, logistics, luck, leadership or even light. However I'd pick it vs another charging faction, say sylvan.

Yes, you would pick it, but do you consider it more important than attack, which was the original question. I believe attack is the most important demon lord skill (mainly for the perks), no matter who your opponent is.

Sure, defence will help against factions like sylvan, but I'd still prefer attack over it.

EDIT: are <> is

You missed my point in the context it was given. As in I almost never pick it over the aforementioned skills.

What are you talking about? Defense? It's 8% for Inferno

Now, enlightenment on the other hand...
