hmm... so you like guys who can beat you in something? well, I guess I am decent in Muay Thai, especially when it comes to clinching. So, I could show ya some clinching tricks Oh, and it is ok if you don't have the boxers - naked is perfectly fine with me. I'll go naked as well just so you are not in any kind of disadvantage.

Thanks, TNT, you're really sweet. It's really okay. I just didn't want it to get out of hand. I'm not that sensitive. Nothing to worry about.
And Russ, if Muay Thai is anything like kickboxing, I can totally kick you ass. ...Actually, probably not. I might have been able to a few years ago though. I'm incredibly out of shape these days. :/

It is often mixed with kickboxing. I've already mentioned it in one of the threads. Kickboxing = a mix of karate + kickboxing that originated in 1970-s Japan. Muay Thai, (translated as Thai Boxing) originated over a thousand years ago in Thailand as a battlefield technique. It became the most famous sport in Thailand around 1500-s. Everyone trained in it. Up until a few decaded ago they even had mandatory Muay Thai classes in Thai schools! In 1930 it was regulated with rules similar to boxing, so now Muay Thai has gloves, rounds and weight classes.
You can kick, punch, knee, elbow and clinch in Muay Thai. And you can hit anywhere except for the groeing (Up until 1930 you could do that too, so Thais protected that very important area with very hard seashells.)
Oh ya, and Muay Thai > kickboxing. Watch a few UFCs (Ultimate Fighting Championships) or K1s (mixed martial arts tournaments held in Japan) and you'll notice that Muay Thai is the best striking tecnhique there is.
Muay Thai = very practical, no flashy s**t like Tae Kwon Do. It doesn't have too many different strikes, but each strike is very powerful and efficient. I mean: it looks cool if you touch your opponent's face with your toes, but it isn't likely to do much damage. On the other hand, if you kick your opponent's head with your shin bone, it is pretty much over for him. Muay Thai doesn't have the 100-move combo bull***t either (I mean: who the f**k would wait for you to finish your big**s 20 or 30-move combo?).
