Eastern Faction

Hi, first time posting here.  I am always intersted with classes and suggestion to games, so putting here a Eastern Faction (mirror somewhat to that ancient Chinese/Japanese theme, as well as some communism here and there)  Won't call it orignal, as its been suggested before in other thread.  Anyway, enjoy.

------------------------------------------------------
Eastern Faction
A faction of might.  Somewhat similar to that of Heaven.  While their low and mid tier units are not very strong, their special abilities should make up for that short coming.  The higher tiers are more balanced in term of stats.  Training in Dojo allow their creature (or any other creature in their army) to do more, at investment of time.  Their army tend to have high decency on their creature¡¦s special ability, and that means upgrading does not always mean better, as some upgraded creature¡¦s ability will change.  In term of city building, they could, if having hero¡¦s with supported ablates, make more gold than other, which will also help them get more creature growth.

Motto: Dishonor is worst than thousand deaths.

Facts and Traits:
Associated Colours: Red, Gold, and Glossy Blue.
Worship: The Everlasting Emperor, Mandate by Gods to Rule.
Core Philosophy: Honor will be bestowed only to those who sever the Emperor truly.
Country/Kingdom: The Thousand Sun Dynasty.
Capital City: Ken-Ryon Ko
Key Symbols: The Sun, clouds, Rylon (oriental dragons), Golden Scroll (symbolic of Mandate of Emperor)

Racial Special:

Dojo:
The Eastern Faction can build a special building in their town call Dojo.  They can put stack creature(s) into the Dojo for training.  After 3 days, the training will be complete, and the stack creatures¡¦ overall stats will increase, making them hit harder, move faster and further, withstand more hits, and even learn new abilities.  This Enhancement will last as long as the creature stack is alive, or if not merge with other untrained stacks.

Dojo Skill Abilities:
Dojo Master: (basic to ultimate)  Increase the stats of creatures train in the Dojo.

Speed Training: Allow finish training in Dojo in just 2 days.  Hero must be in town.

Co-Train: In a unit merage, if the trained creature is greater amount than the untrained, the newly merged unit will retain its dojo enhancement.

Hero¡¦s Dojo:  Allow Hero to train in dojo too, increase his/her stats.

Greater Honor:  Increase Moral upon winning a battle.

Triple Strike: Active ability, zero mana.  The hero will used up a turn.  On his/her next turn, he will attack 3 times.

Deadly Swipe: Active ability, zero mana.  Here will attack in a 3X3 square range.

Commonist Wealth:  Gain gold each week that is X times the total Commoner or Commonist in the hired army.

Work the Field:  Increase the gold gain by 500 each day if a hero with this ability is stationary in town.

Call to Honor:  Active ablity, zero mana.  Increase a creature stack¡¦s moral rating.

Sepu: Active ablity, zero mana.  Your hero will ¡§die¡¨ for the rest of the battle, but all your command creature will gain a boost in attack and moral for that battle.  Will count as Retreat at the end of battle.

Kamakaze:  Increase all your command creatures¡¦ attack and movement, but decrease their defense.

Honorable Recruitment:  If you hero¡¦s moral is high enough and is station in a city, that cities creature growth with increase by some.

Honorable Might:  The Hero¡¦s attack power is increase per ever level of Moral.

Special Buildings

Dojo Upgrade:  Allow to train 2 units at the dojo at once.

I'm not sure I quite understand the A-B-C-D value indicator for abilities.

Also, I have nothing against the idea, but I'm not quite sure how well it'll sit within the frames of the rest of the game. So far, the Town Themes have been pretty tightly constructed around race and proficien - like Human Fighters, Human Wizards, Necromancers, Diabolics, Elves, Dark Elves and possibly Orc, Dwarf and Naga.

Personally, I like the idea of importing some Eastern theme in one of the towns, because it'd give a wonderful theme for architecture and city layout - just like the Academy is obviously based on a Arabean-Middle Eastern style. Question is wether it could be implemented in one of the upcomming towns, it somehow seems unlikely, because neither Dwarf, Orc or Naga would fit into that setting particularly well (Naga could very well go with Atlantian/Classic Greek theme, and Orc would probably be something more shabby.

I'm more dubeous as to the addition of another human faction, without intending this to be any criticism of the work you've done. I think the Humans contribute to a rather large part of the game already, and I think it would be more in the line of the new developers to take in other races. The Eastern theme could go with a conflux/Phoenix town, which such a one should come into existence at some point (which I doubt).

And I'm not sure another dragon is going to go down with the Dragon Haters.

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot: The Drunken Panda is hilarious!

Actually.. should have Ninja in there...

Anyhow, ABCD is use instead of real number value is because,.. well, I am not good with math, and still unsure how the forumla works.  Also it leave alot of room for balance by keep it generic.  So if it has a A in attack, most likely it will be around a lv 7 level, and so on.  The number can easily be fill in by other in later time, as long as the idea and the characteristic of the creature gets cross.

Eastern town, yes, not a traditional fantasy setting (thought there were few eastern fatasy stuff out there)  Its not something I would push, but just want to put it out.  While they are another human, they come from farther east (not on the map).  Also they would be a slight differnt "race" (slanted eye, yellow skin?  I can joke about it because I am Asian, haha)

Anyway, feel free to comment about it.

Well it's not a standard western dragon so it should be okay, although would it fit within a 2x2 square if it were suitably different?
