One night, without leaving his house, he goes upstairs, turns off the light, and kills himself and 250 other people... how??

the origional riddle
I know someone answered the origional riddle in the second post.. but it was bugging me, so me and a couple friends got together, and we figured it out. We found that there are many answeres to the "princess & prince" riddle.
here's what we came up with in case any of you ever are going to be thrown over a bridge by a genie, who gives you one chance to live by asking you that riddle.
ps=princesses age
pc=princes age
ps1 pc1= age now
ps2 pc2= age past
ps3 pc3= age future
SOLUTION:
ps=pc+pc/3
i.e.
40 = 30+30/3
HOW WE FOUND THE SOLUTION:
ps1=pc1+x
ps2=pc2+x
ps3=pc3+x
ps1=pc2
pc2=ps1
ps2=2pc3
pc3=ps2/2
Ps3=((ps1)+(pc1))/2
ps3=(ps1+ps1-x)
x=2ps1-ps3
ps1=pc2=ps2-x=2pc3-x= 2(ps3-x)-x= 2ps3-3x
x=(2ps3-3x)-ps3
x=ps3-3x
4x=ps3
4x=pc3+x
3x=pc3
4x=ps3
3x=pc3
x=pc/3
x=ps/4
Solution::::
ps=pc+pc/3

The eater is a lion, who is killed and you eat its flesh, and the strong I am assuming is a tree, from whithin rests a bee's nest and honey comes out of that... something like that anyway, although i do remember the legend it came from had honey inside a lion...???

A man is dead in a phone box. There is fishing tackle outside and the windows on either side of him are smashed. The reciever of the phone is off the hook and hanging down.. how did he die?
