I'm not installing ANY more patches untill they fix them.

Hello lord_crusader.
My system is underpowered in 1 area and borderline in others, but I've only ever had slow performance, not crashing untill I installed that @#$%!&* patch!
I can handle a slow game, crashing not.

Maybe I'm just being overly optimistic but i was really hoping the map editor, a couple new maps, or ally options for maps (not just free-for-all) would have been released in this patch. It's nice to get the laundry list of tweaks but i feel sorry for the map makers who are sitting on their hands right now.

still v1.0?
Weird. I updated my us version to v1.1 but when I play it it still says "v1.0" and the easy mode was not there. I tried to reinstall the patch but it says "patch already installed." Anyone has a similar problem?

This patch is bugged, very bugged.
It greys out all missions/campaigns so I cannot continue to play after finishing one.

I only can see 2 different patches.
"Normal edition" and "Collectors Edition".
What about "DeLuxe Edition"?

I downloaded the patch for US version in both ubisoft.com and gamershell.com but I can't install any of them ("Heroes of Might and Magic V is not installed. Patch cannot be applied."). I've found out that both of them in Properties have file version and product version indicating "European." Does anyone have a persistent link to the CORRECT U.S. patch? (please not the ones with torrents) Thanks

Here is a long list of sites, one of them is bound to have the right patch for you. I don't know which of those sites work, myself, because I use the European version.

Only just found out about the patch - got the right one at my second attempt (EU folks watch out: some of the sites only host the US std version)...
But now I'm wondering whether it's a good idea to apply the patch... I'm in the middle of the 3rd mission in the dungeon campaign, so I guess it would be wise to wait until I've finished that map - but should I also wait until I've finished the campaign?

i installed the patch in the middle of the campaign and i couldnot finish any map normaly.
the patch sux

in the readme saids that you can't load any previuos saved game... I just finished the necro campaing without any problem... with the new patch

So did you install the patch just prior to starting the necro campaign, or during?
I guess if I leave it to the start of the next campaign, I won't be loading a saved game as such, though presumably the game still loads something that details the stats and skills/abilities of the major heroes I've played so far?

that's why the next patch will fix the multiplayer issues
and I was in the middle of the campaing map 2 though... you must restart the current map but there is no problems with the missions already completed
