Vampire Lord...good attack&defence and the only creture(with fallen agel) who have the "Life Drain" ability BEST TIER 4 CREATURE!!!!

For me the best is Grim Raider - his 100% defense reduction when charging is awesome, especially against tier 7s

Grim rider's charge is quite deadly, but they also die a bit easily.
Don't forget Succubus Seducer

vampire lords suck.
The torpor casters are kinda useful tho. Disabled unit = more time for your necro to cast spells.
It's Phoenix and CoTN that wins games, not units. That makes necropolis much more flexible with the necromancy system, btw. Since it doesn't matter what they rise - everything is good, since everything increases the time you have to demolish your foe with spells

I know this is rather offtopic but can anyone give me some counters for imperial griffin coz when you are invading haven at their castle, the player simply sends the griffin to battle dive and stay out of battle altogether and let the castle towers slowly decimate your creatures... considering how they have high inititative this trick can be repeated again and again. I think imperial griffins should be the best 4th level creature with battle dive in consideration.

If he tries battle dive then eventually the griffs will land outside and you'll hit them badly. In fact chances are they WILL land outside. Just don't keep your units in one place

I have to say that succubus misstress are the best the arch mage is good but you cant use them if one of you guys is standing in front of the one you want to attack. the succubus are just plain awsome with their chain attack.

Try Succubus Temptress then.
Why kill the enemy when you can make them to kill eachother

for the sake of razor5 vaps are pretty sweet for most of my battles as necro against nutrels I usualy end up with with the same number as I started
