Ok, this place is booming again. Its time to bring back a very fun game that used to be around. I will be running this thing. Nothing will be changed as of yet, and the rules will stay the same as the original. I will need some help to think of the contests.

RULES
- This GAME proceeds by Rounds. Once I declare a Round over, I will Post the results of that Round here and will update the Universal Thread Owners List (which is above). I will then open "Thread-claiming" for the next Round, which is done here.
At this point, participants will have 48-72 hours (2-3 days) to claim un-owned or owned Threads. After this time expires, all conflicts in ownership will be resolved by Contests.
- Contests might be a "TPAM war". It might be giving us the most convincing story that you like the smell of dog poop. The point is that the Contest will be ridiculous.  Contests will either be created by myself, or someone appointed by me, AND will be Posted here.
Contests will start with a 24-48 hour (1-2 days) period of "idea submissions". This means that all submissions must be given to the Contest creator by the 24-48 hour deadline, or else that claim is ignored. At this point, the Contest creator will open a Thread in the Volcanic Wastelands and include the submissions, as well as the guidelines to the Contest, and people will have 24-48 hours to vote on each submission. After the voting period has ended, a winner will be declared (in the case of a tie, nothing changes) and the results will be Posted in the Round Results Thread.
- Tournaments will take place every 5th & 10th Rounds. The Rules & details are in this Post, but the Contests & Results for each one can be found here.
The Tournaments taking place after each 5th Round (15, 25, etc.) will involve people betting one of their own Threads in a Contest where the winner takes all, except for the runner-up that gets to keep their Thread.
The Tournaments taking place after each 10th Round (10, 20, etc.) will involve people betting 1 of their own Threads in order to Compete for ownership of a specific Forum. All 13 Forums are up for grabs, so each winner will not only take possession of the specific Forum they Competed for, but they will also steal the Threads from the opponents they defeated.
SPECIFICS
1- In order to claim anything, you must Post here, but please provide a link to the Thread you are claiming. (I need to check that Threads are legitimate!)
2- You may only challenge a person for a Thread OR claim an un-owned Thread once per Round. NOT BOTH!!! ONLY ONE!!! 
3a- Campaigning to HC members that are not involved in this Game is forbidden. "Campaigning" is the act of sending messages to members & telling them to vote for your submission in a specific Competition.
3b- Campaigning to members that are involved in this Game is also forbidden.
3c- Asking people to "check out" a particular Contest is permitted, as long as they are not coerced to vote for any particular entry.
4- People who are participating in a Contest may not vote in it as this might create favourtism or something like that.
5- Every possible attempt to keep Contest submissions anonymous will be made in order to encourage fair voting. 
6- (NEW) If one, or all, of the participants involved in a Contest do not like the idea that has been submitted, they can either choose to have RSF create a new Contest idea OR they can simply opt for the Random Challenge. (If RSF is involved in the Contest in question, the participants will only be able to fall back on the Random Challenge.)
To avoid abuse of the "Contest idea creation process" and to save everyone as much time as possible, if one participant wants to change the Contest idea and the other(s) do not...and cannot provide a valid reason for wanting the change (i.e. emotional scarring, time restraints, language barrier, etc.)...they will incur a -1 vote penalty for each participant that wanted to continue with the original Contest idea.
7- (NEW) If a participant submits an entry that does not follow the idea/purpose of the Contest, they will forfeit their challenge as if they had not submitted anything at all. If the participant does not understand the idea/purpose of the Contest, they must mention this to the Contest creator. (This Rule does not apply for Random Contests, as anything at all can be submitted as an entry.)
8- After someone successfully defends one of their Threads 3 times (over 3 different Rounds without loosing it & then getting it back), that particular thread will be retired. A retired Thread will be marked in the UTOL with: "RT" (Ex: Tossers Tavern-RT)
9- Tournaments take place outside of the regular Rounds. Participating in a tournament does not exclude a member from participating in the regular.
10- (NEW) To make Tournaments more important to the GAME, those who own a Forum can choose to make one extra claim of ANY Thread in the Forum that they own, during the "Thread-claiming stage" of any Round between Forum Tournaments. That means they can:
a) Claim 1 extra unowned Thread in their Forum...once.
b) Claim 1 extra owned Thread in their Forum...once.
c) Open claiming of a retired Thread during one Round to everyone who owns a Thread in that same Forum!...once. (Ex: The "Tavern owner" could open claiming of Tossers Tavern-RT to anyone who owns a Tavern Thread.)
TOURNAMENTS
Forums - Open after the completion of each 10th Round:
Entry Fee: 1 of your Threads
Details: The winners of each Forum Contest claim that particular Forum (as they would normally claim a Thread) and also claim the Threads wagered by their competitors (who were also trying to win that particular Forum).
Royal Rumble - Open after the completion of each 5th Round:
Entry Fee: 1 of your Threads
Details: Every participant will compete in one glorious Contest against everyone else, at the same time. The winner takes all of the competitors' Threads! The runner-up gets to keep their Thread.
