Same thought here, I like the berserkers, not the best but one of the most numerous of their tier...and with a good reason...

My favorite creatures come by factions:
Haven - Imperial Griffin
Academy - Rakshasa Kshatra
Sylvan - Elder Druid
Fortress - Thane
Inferno - Nightmare
Necropolis - Wraith
Dungeon - Hydra
Stronghold - Cyclops
and of course in the neutral i like the Water Elemental new shape

Haven - Champion
Academy - Rakshasa Kshatra
Sylvan - Arcane Archer
Fortress - Thunder Thane
Inferno - Pit Lord
Necropolis - Archlich
Dungeon - Black Dragon
Stronghold - Executioner
Edit :
Neutral : Death Knight, of course. That is everyone's, I think .
As for army, consisting on lvl 1 - 7 creatures, I'd make it like this:
I.Shieldguard
II.War Dancer
III.Arcane Archer
IV.Archmage
V.Rune Patriarch
VI.Thunder Thane
VII.Black Dragon
Fortress, Academy, Dungeon and Sylvan warriors = 15 morale .

my most favorite neutral of all time would have to be the death knight
haven would be crossbowman or champion
academy would be rakshasa ksatra
dungeon is black dragon (of course)
sylvan is definitely arcane archer
fortress is probably that thane dude with fire
inferno is probably pit spawn
stronghold is most definitely centaur nomad
necropolis is banshee for me (and banshees are actually better than wraiths with the ability)

For me, since I am a haven player,
Haven: all the units! Especially Archangel!
(Yup, maybe I am biased, but I believe I am not biased without a reason)
Now for the other factions:-
Sylvan: all unicorns (in fact, the other units I quite like, and this is the faction I do not mind mixing with haven troops)
Academy: all magi
Fortress: not much liking for them in general, though I find flame lord and thunder thane quite interesting
Inferno: nightmare
Dungeon: black dragons
Necropolis: wraith
Stronghold: sky/earth daughters

tier 1: stalkers(let's own those nasty shooters/casters who blow the heck out of your army)
tier 2: marksmen(the shotgun...)
tier 3: arcane archers(they get slaughtered by tier1 stalkers but their damage is awesome)
tier 4: grim raiders(enemy defense makes almost no difference and I like dinosaurs)
tier 5: deep/foul hydra(hydra means almost invincible, imo they are)
tier 6: Wraith(I like grim reapers and their king is Eddie)
tier 7: Black dragons(all-slayers, foebanes,... the strongest unit in all of ashan)

The list applies for 2.1(will get TotE for Christmas), so only 2.1 units here.
Haven is the Paladins! Tankish, powerful and good-looking creatures impress me, really.
Academy? Units here are lookink badly-no one is my type.
In Sylvan the prize goes to War Dancers. I don't know why... maybe it's just cool when they strike everyone near them?
On Fortress Fire/Magma Drarons rule. With them, you just feel the power of fire, while I haven't felt as much power with other 7lvl units.
Dungeon Hydras also have that feel. They're also almost invicible and look just good.
I have a hard time with Inf. and Necro. All units look quite like others here. I just cannot decide.

Haven: Priest (just because the upgrades name is cool)
Sylvan: War dancer (they look cool)
Academy: Gremlin (I like there ATB-bar picture)
Inferno: Pitlord (everyone knows theyre cool)
Necropolis: Wraith (they are like death itself )
Dungeon: Hydras (except when they are attacking a single units...)
I don't have expansions but from the screenshots i think the evil angel (or whatever hes called) nice too

Arch Mages: Gotta have wizards in a wizards army. Love the basic missle strike and fireball. I think they should be higher tier, though.
Titans: Man trying to surpass the power of gods. Gotta love it.
Dungeons

Shadow Witches: Love the ranged attack. Not so big on the curses.
Haven

Inquisitor: Love the ranged attack. Good for buffs. Look pretty cool, too, though the helmet seems a pit strange given their attire.
Arch Angel: Loved them since Heroes 3. Powerful, imposing, angelic . . . could use some footwear.
Inferno

Succubus Mistress: Awesome change attack, good sound and animations. Not sure why all video games potray Succubai as ugly, but she's awesome enough for it to pass.
Pit Fiends: Cool sword and meteor swarm. Also has a lot of significance to D&D players.
