Well, being one of my favorite units from H3, I was disapointed to hear that they would only appear as neutrals in H5.  It's almost worse than them not being in the game at all.  Knowing that they are there, but you can almost never get to use them.  I then resolved to make them recruitable as soon as possible.  The fact that the Wraith ended up being fugly only made it that much easier.

why does everyone hate the appearance of the wraith?? i think the green aura kicks azz! the doom reaper is cool too, but i like the green aura.

If it was actually green (like the plague zombie attack) I'd be OK with it.  But it's an ugly pastel blue/green teal color that just looks hideous (in a bad way).

abilities

Have you figured out how to mod the abilities yet?  I saw the same stuff you mentioned with being spells or whatever you mentioned, but I haven't figure how to change abilities yet.

My brother and I want to try a few things, not only with undead but a few other units to modify them (other then just their stats).

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I don't think most of you care but it is possible to get death knights with markals ability.   If that were given to another hero it would make for a cool mod.

my opinion is that the blood knight looks very good by the new shield and helmet.dread knight as well.don't you think their attack and defense skills are a bit level seven?

Ok here goes...
I LOVE your GREAT Dark Knights mod but would like to make a couple changes for myself. I like Wight/wraith for Necro at level 6 but HATE HATE HATE the dragons. I would like to put the Dark Knights at tier 7 with the life drain ability of vampires. Is it possible?
So I would have..
1. Skeletons
2. Zombies
3. Ghosts
4. Vampires
5. Liches
6. Wights
7. Dark Knights
Not sure if the life drain would make game unbalanced. Of course they would not have Death Touch or Death Strike.
I play too much Everquest and only play Shadow Knights, so I would like my paragon monster to be a life tapping, Death Knight. If you could email me a way to do this, or the file or even repost it here I would appreciate it greatly!

hm... sorry for bumping this thread... but you may consider changing the names and descriptions on the dwelling buildings.

Dragon graveyard -> Forlorn Hall
Dragon Vault -> Forlorn Cathedral

Forlorn Hall -> Hall of Darkness
Forlorn Cathedral -> Hall of the Abyss (or something like that )

and maybe give the doom reaper fly? to match the dragon better... and remove harms tough on the doom reaper since the dread knight already has it.

hm... when I play with your mod (it's the only mod installet atm) the dragons arn't replaced... I still get bone/spectral dragon as tier 7 creature. I play with 1.3 european english version of the game.

or did I missunderstood the whole reaper part?... as they might not replace the dragons as the tier 7 creature for necro?

That's because this mod only replaces the wights/wraiths with the neutral death knights (?) and I only posted my ideas for the mod author as a request for info on how to change it on my game.

Lovely mod, but there are a few places where the origonal ight and raith text shows up, I know the Blood Knights showed up as wights in the recruiting screen at the very least.

Woah

What's a tad curious, is that it works perfectly for HoMM V.  What's not pretty is in HoF, the sprite is skewed terribly.  The name reverted back to Wight and Wraith and the only real change is in the towns you created them in where you can see the modification.  Was there a work-around for this, or is it something that needs to be removed from the Data folder due to the difference between the games?

who can make a TotE upgrade for that mod,to have antipaladin or a doom lord instead of a banshee? i was thinking a purple colored dread knight with some ability

3 problems I've found with this mod:

1. In mission "Last Soul Standing", I cannot upgrade any Blood Knights I buy into Dread Knights etc.

2. After victory, Blood Knight's victory animation was weird... he floated up off his horse and spread his arms apart.  Intentional?

3. By being a "living creature," he suffers bad morale even though he's in his own faction's army.  Please make him Undead.
