ok..I try to do sth..but don't expect a miracle
hey Vlaad I check that DEFEAT_HERO and I set on first line of parameters name of hero and in the second line definite number of player whitch hero is
[0] Muscip
[1] PLAYER_3
You can also set target cell where You can find that what You're looking for..I kill him and I've got avard...but with one bug..on left there is no icon of hero that You must kill..I think it should be Naadir icon..or sth.. but there is still "unknown" maybe someone..who know editor more then me can answer..anyway for me works without icon 
uff..that's fourth quest..workin' on if time let

For the third campaign it says Hero Markal not exists, which name would he be under then

It's explained in the guide: Markal internal name is "Berein"

Thank you curio and sfidza great guide seriously helped me get through the necromancy campaign which i have played 7 times because of bugs!! great campaign mode i love the story!!! 100,000,000 familiars ftw !!!!

hey..
what patch do the cheats need, i followed the guide on

thinking it was the best guide, because its "official"(on heroes' website)
i followed the guide all along, did as it said, and i cant get it to work
as some of you may know about, i had problems with my patch, i wrote a thread and asked for help, now i hope you nice guys can help me once again..

the path too the autoexec file is this My computer/Boot/Program files/ubisoft/heroes of might and magic V/profiles/autoexec

well hello guys i've got a small problem.
first of all i would like to thank the person who discovered it
now second i have a problem when i write that special code in the editor.
i copy it there click save but a message pops up and says that i can't save it because the name is'nt right or something like that and that happens with both of my games(V and TOE).
and again would really like if you help me out guys.

i had the same problem here's what you must do
1. go too properties and uncheck the read only
2. if you have Vista you must get the admins permission

But I have another problem concerning cheating HOMMV on mac: In the console I simply can't type quotes ("). It's maybe because I am using a German keyboard. I tried to set the keyboard mode to US but it didn't do the trick! I also tried another keyboard - a basic windows keyboard, but still it didn't work. Any ideas?

Then the solution is almost certainly to press the @ key instead. On some keyboards, the functions of these keys are swapped. Hope that helps.

Unfortunately it didn't. @ on the German Mac Keyboard is "ALT" + "L" ad has no effect at all …

There are no quotes anywhere  I was hoping mayby someone of you knew how to edit the game's keyboard setup … well, thanks anyway.

Final idea: copy the character into the clipboard, then paste it into Heroes? (Use the symbols dialog to find it...)
What does Shift+2 do?
