My favorite was: I was playing with the dwarves vs haven. AI's hero was Klaus. I had blocked him and he had built a huge army (had about 300 paladins). I had left a hero with 1 magma dragon nearby for no reason. And then i unblocked the AI hero and he attacks the hero with the magma dragon. First it's marksmen's turn. AI waits and ATTACKS THE MAGMA DRAGON WITH PALADINS AND LOOSES ABOUT 30-35 of them  Love Fireshield 
Edit: he lost 41 paladins

Have had stupid AI-behaviour, but nothing that can top that one.

Even better is when AI uses Explosion with Horned Overseers while under siege. Without any reason. Just when thier turn comes... bang.

That happens ALL the time. Really, can't it wait (literally) or gate (if it hasn't already).
All time best AI screw up has to be taking over my creature with Pupper Master and using Rune of Exorcism.  It was Dwarves V Dwarves.
