It shouldnt, it's only a QP, it's not like money is involved.
It should be for fun but with more euthusiasm to play harder & ha ve more people in there.
ALso for those who dont come in the last 5 minutes  .
I wonder if i can block Tinas basketball shot with me being only 5/8

No QP for winning. We generally don't use QP's for game prizes, that really has no bearing on the whole top 2% of what's in HC idea.
I think its all very cool, and am glad you guys had fun, but c'mon... have fun for the sake of having fun!! Why does it always have to be about the stars?

Okay, a lot of things to summarize. First of all, there WILL be a 2nd party! However, it will not be for a while due to 2 reasons:
1. I will be in China for most of next month.
2. If the Masquerade is done too much or too often, it will cease to be fun.
Right now, I think the most fitting time to have the next party would be Halloween weekend (October 27~29). I'll play around with the time and date to try and accommodate more people.
I also agree that guessing should not involve QPs. We're all competitive by nature, and if we involve prizes, people might (even if subconsciously) get lost in the "game" and forget to have fun.
Leggie, stop telling everyone you have the French version! I was the only one who noticed, and now everyone can pick you out next time! There are a few other attendees that I spotted right away due to... certain features. For example:

I'm gonna HCM some attendees with distinct features, so if you don't get one from me, your identity is well hidden.
I will definitely try to integrate Kooka's suggestion of rotation into the next party. The only problem would be from a technical aspect. I'll need people to leave certain rooms and enter others without losing anyone on the way, and I'll need to monitor all rooms and keep my masquerade name active. Let me play around with it in the mean time to see how this might work out.
Angelito, you have nothing to worry about! Your English is indeed better than a lot of the native speakers, so no worries! I thought about keeping the attendees hidden, but that could be too difficult to guess in the end, especially if we don't get too many people at the party. So depending on how many people we get next time, I may or may not reveal the people present.
And yes, if you're going to be at the party, please do not be AFK! ^_^
Right now, the one thing we're not agreeing on is "how many is too many." It seems a lot of you like smaller settings, while others enjoy larger groups. I might have to set up a poll at some point to see how I'm going to handle that.
And last thing, Foggy mentioned it was too short. What do you guys think? Two hours next time? Or is one hour good?
Edit: And to confirm, yes, Leggie did guess the most people. And yes, he did you get you, Angelito.

Okay, you WERE the hardest to guess. By far. But I DID guess you. Just because you don't remember it (and didn't answer btw, which is sorta against Iris' CoC lmao) doesn't mean I'm lying. Seriously, man. Check your AIM history if you have this setting on (or if it even exists, since AIM is what it is). You came to me and said "so, who am I ?", I said "Kookie ?", you said "nope". Then I took a little more reflexion and said something along the lines of : "I know, Gommie". I also IMed that guess to Iris way before the unmasking. Really, dude !

i had everyone wrong
only guessed twice per person
init i thought kokojambon was Legend because the
speaking patterns were similar right up until the admittance
that the word jambon was researched earlier that day
and then i thought eldgriffen was Legend
