Yeah I agree, makes me wqonder what qps he got which he shouldnt have got, like ones which he copied and pasted.
Oh well I suppose.
Also this should be in turban tribunal not VW.

relax you guys
i once found an old thread where a member (former member now  ) posted several excellent hand drawn pictures that he found on the net claiming that he drew them. he got heaps of praise but got banned after someone found that the pictures were from several different authors

I thought it was obvious that most of these types of posts were just cut and paste. I didn't really have a problem with it - most were still funny, and I just thought that everyone knew {The source should have of course been acknowledged though}.
DS is not the only person here that is cutting and pasting without referencing. Is this what is wanted - should we be referencing the images as well Do we only need to reference direct quotes

Well it's good for you to try and get Tavern running again, but perhaps this is the wrong way to be doing it

No, the thread which Iris has posted recently about star signs was obviously a copy-paste. There's a famous book by Adele Lang and the stuff is all over the Internet.

It is understood that images (aside from real life photos and screenshots) are not yours.

So is the issue that people thought these were really original thoughts from DS rather than that the author was not acknowledged? (edit: red was a spelling mistake too )

BTW I was not referring to Iris in particular - there are several threads here that are copy-pastes, especially like you said if you flick back through the tavern. AND I love Iris's threads, and most of DS's no matter where they came from. They stimulate original discussion if nothing else.

Seriously though, I could browse my favorites and bookmarks and paste now dozens of such threads in a minute. All Dragon_Slayer's threads could be under one single topic - "Post your funny links here".
