I have to differ with your opinion here slightly. I don't consider what happens to sex offenders or pedophiles while they are incarcerated as "abuse" so much as I see it as the cosmic scales of justice balancing themselves.
I am a married father of two young girls and as such I have given this subject a great deal of thought. I've spent some time indulging the darker part of myself; imagining how I would spend some one on one time with any sex offender or pedophile that gets past me and abuses my daughters or wife.
I've concluded that pedophiles and sex offenders are better off spending their lives in jail.
Quite frankly I'm amazed at the survival rate of the sex offenders and pedophiles that do get released back into the public.
What are peoples thoughts on the legal existence of pro-pedophilia groups such as NAMBLA?

I'm sorry I had to pick out this quote... 99%of lawyers are absolutely sleazy if not covered in slime. But the phrase "sleazy far left lawyer" i find mildly entertaining. I'm sorry, but it's just something about those four words, that make me smile.
Just what do you know about the bad old Far Left??
Still I disagree that locking people, especially the one with serious mental deviances(check my above post) is a good solution, but I guess that I have already explained that.

Well about pro-pedophilia groups.
Well government doesn't want to do anything because there is freedom of expression problem that exists with such an intervention. So if the law would be challenged on legal/constitutional grounds than the Supreme Courts would strike it down.
